Taurus “The firstling of his bullock, majesty is his; And his horns are the horns of the wild-ox” The four horns of Taurus and Aries make up the pattern for the celestial incense alter. Tau in Hebrew meaning the last or alter. The term applied to Aries, which was also called Barazigger, meaning, “The righteous alter.” Aries was at one time the last symbol of the Zodiac and finished the yearly procession. According to the ancient tradition the Sun died with the lamb. So Aries was considered to be “The alter for the Sun. Aleph in Hebrew means Ox and first. The term Alpha describes Taurus who was at one time considered the first constellation and lead the yearly procession. After the sun died with the lamb, in Egypt it was said to disappear over the horizon as the sun when into the belly of Cetus and then rose back up thru the Pleiades as a symbol of eternity. After that it rose to the horns of the Taurus the bull a symbol of the spring and of resurrection.
