We have at the Aston Workshop, striven to restore this AstonMartin to a condition at least as good as when it was initially manufactured by Aston Martin at Newport Pagnell. With enhancements incorporated in this Aston Martin in the way of quality of machining, materials, systems and paint, the quality of this car is one which should give the owner long and reliable service, while recreating a true artefact of form, performance and beauty which will give many years of motoring pleasure. Enjoy

A model that is both very rare and fast appreciating, this beautiful DB2 Vantage Drophead Coupe epitomises the world leading brand of Aston Martin. A restored DHC Vantage such as this is always going to be highly desirable proposition, but add to that the car’s fascinating early competition history that is well documented in the Aston Martin Owners Club register, and you have something truly special. In its early life, it was campaigned in a variety of club races and European rallies with some success, and is eligible for all of the historic and classic car rallies. This late DB2 benefits from a world renowned Aston Workshop restoration, including a fully restored body & chassis, full re-trim and a brand new hood, and is sure to grace any venue with its presence. It is also fitted with the original factory 2.6 litre Vantage engine which has been fully rebuilt and up-rated by Aston Workshop including all new internals. It has several features which endow this beautiful Aston with a ‘modern’ driving feel including an up-rated 5-speed gearbox, electronic power assisted steering, electronic ignition and a very modern 3.5.4 ration limited slip differential. Other mechanical work undertaken during its restoration includes the reassembly of the front and rear suspension with new bushes and bearings plus new clutch and brake components. But technicalities aside, this is a truly exceptional and very attractive DB2 DHC Vantage, one that offers the potential purchaser an opportunity to buy not just a car, but a rare piece of Aston Martin heritage.
