GAMES AND EXPERIMENTS ALONG THE SILK ROAD Nel teatro con esperimenti di Reinventore si esplora ogni anno l’intreccio tra i giochi e la storia della scienza. Un gioco caratteristico dell’antica Cina è lo zhuqingting o libellula di bambù, un’elica volante. Sin da ragazzo George Cayley, il fondatore della moderna aeronautica, era affascinato da questi oggetti e li costruiva. Dalle grandi invenzioni della scienza cinese, antica e moderna, scaturiscono anche molti giochi. Esempi sono le calamite, la polvere da sparo, la stampa e la carta. Ma anche la seta (gli aquiloni) e le ombre cinesi.
The experiments theatre of Reinventore explores every year the ties between games and the history of science. One of the characteristic Chinese games is zhuqingting or bamboo dragonfly, a flying helix. George Cayley, founder of modern aeronautics, has been fascinated with these objects and has been building them ever since he was a boy. From the great inventions of Chinese science, both ancient and modern, also derived many games. Some examples are magnets, gunpowder, printing and paper. But also silk (kites) and Chinese shadow play.
ARRIVA FAVOLAVÀ: I TEATRINI DELLE FIABE PER LA CITTÀ FAVOLAVÀ IS COMING: FABLE PUPPET-THEATRES DOWN TOWN “Favolavà” e le valigie delle fiabe da portare a casa, al Tocatì! Le valigie delle fiabe, ideate negli anni 80 da Marco Scacchetti e realizzate grazie alla collaborazione di generosi amici artigiani e artisti, e in sostegno dell’associazione Marinamu ensemble, saranno protagoniste attive della Mostra- laboratorio dei Teatrini d’autore di Favolavà. Le storie delle valigie d’autore, realizzate in collaborazione con la Galleria “Incorniciarte” e artisti veronesi, prenderanno vita grazie alle voci e alle mani di Marco, Emanuela, Peppe, Rosella e Stefania.
Tocatì presents Favolavà and the suitcases of fables to take home! The suitcases of fables, invented in the ‘80s by Marco Scacchetti and created thanks to the collaboration of generous artisan and artist friends, will be active protagonists of the Exhibition/workshop of Favolavà’s Puppet Theatres, to support the association Marinamu ensemble. The stories of these little suitcases, realized in cooperation with the Gallery Incorniciarte and with Veronese artists, will come to life thanks to the voices and hands of Marco, Emanuela, Peppe, Rosella e Stefania.

Vieni e sfoglia il catalogo dei libri viventi. Se un titolo richiama la tua attenzione, prendi il libro in prestito e… ascoltalo. Chi sono i libri? Sono persone in carne ed ossa, disposte a raccontarti la propria storia e a rispondere alle tue domande in un incontro a tu per tu per un tempo di circa 30 minuti.
The Living Library is an experience of intercultural dialogues, created to break down stereotypes and prejudices. How does it work? Just like any other library: come and browse the index of living books. If a title catches your attention, just borrow the book and… listen to it. Who are books? They’re people in the flesh, willing to tell you their story and to answer your questions face to face for about 30 minutes. 51
