UPDATES SUMMER 1019 Leadership Consultant Pilot Program
At National Convention 2019, the Exploratory Committee will propose a pilot program to test the Leadership Consultant positions and materials that they developed. This program will provide direct support to Chapters: a dedicated National resource to assist in setting goals, leadership development, recruitment and more. Creating these new positions will also allow the National Board of Directors to dedicate more of their time to priorities essential to the sustainability of the National Organization. All details of the program will be presented to the Delegation at Convention, but below are some of the goals and measures of success for the pilot program. Each Regional Consultant will visit Chapters, provide continuing education and serve as the coordinator for policy updates. Quarterly round tables will occur to provide feedback on the pilot program. Additionally, a survey measuring satisfaction with the National Organization will be presented to Chapters at the beginning and end of the pilot year. Results of the surveys and round tables will be presented at Convention 2020, along with details of the meetings, Chapter visits, and programing provided by the Leadership Consultants. The following questions will be addressed through the first year of the pilot: • How many Active Chapters can a Leadership Consultant successfully manage? • Is a one year term enough time to get to know and become a trusted resource for Active Chapters? • Are the monthly topics that the Leadership Consultants are responsible for communicating useful, easy to communicate, and timed appropriately?

The Committee is currently recruiting Professional Alumnae to serve as Leadership Consultants. Geographic location of the Leadership Consultant should determine the territory she will cover (defined in the map on next page) A Sister does not have to be assigned to the territory of her alma mater; in fact, the Exploratory Committee would like to explore the perspective of a Leadership Consultant building relationships with all new Chapters.
