WHile there is not a lot of support from other countries for United States President Donald Trump, more than half of filipinos, however, expressed confidence that the American leader would make the correct decisions concerning global affairs. A recent survey conducted by the Pew Research Center in 37 countries showed that the Philippines is Trump’s greatest supporter. Results show that 69 percent of Filipinos are confident that Trump would do the right thing when it comes to world affairs. Trump also received high confidence ratings in other countries including Vietnam at 58 percent, Nigeria at 58 percent, israel at 56 percent, and Russia at 53 percent. in contrast, 23 percent of Filpinos showed distrust towards the U.S. president. Trump also received the lowest scores in Mexico and Spain, with trust ratings of only 5 percent and 7 percent respectively. Overall, Trump received a median trust rate of 22 percent, which “stands in contrast to the final years of Barack Obama’s presidency,

ReSORTS World Manila (RWM) on Thursday, June 29 resumed its gaming operations after the state-owned Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR) lifted its suspension order on the company’s provisional license to operate casinos and gaming facilities. in a statement, PAGCOR said it lifted its suspension order “after careful scrutiny and deliberations” of the Travellers international Hotel Group, inc. (TiHGi) compliance with the government’s “required security and safety improvements.” RWM is owned and operated by TiHGi. PAGCOR said among the se-
