Number of Asian American voters more than doubles

WAshINGtoN, DC — the number of identified registered Asian Americans more than doubled from 3.2 to 7.2 million after the most extensive ethnicity modeling was provided by the AAPI Victory fund in partnership with VeDA Data solutions. “our biggest national databases are missing crucial details and do not provide a clear picture of voters,” said shekar Narasimhan, chairman and founder of the AAPI Victory fund. “When voter files list ‘unknown,’ it becomes challenging to engage with voters on issues that will resonate with them. this data will allow us to meet our goal of increased engagement with the growing Asian American community,” he added. “micro-targeting at this level changes the outcome of elections. the system can more

24-year-old Filipina’s unexplained death spurs homicide investigation

the unexplained death of a 24-year-old filipina from La Puente, California, which occurred sometime during the weekend of saturday, september 17, has drawn the suspicion of homicide detectives. Nursing student Cassandra salvador returned home from work on saturday evening and was found unresponsive when her parents attempted to wake her the next morning, according to KCAL9 News. Police officers who arrived at her house on the 13200 block of east Gyna Lane on sunday, september 18, sometime after 9 a.m. pronounced the woman dead at the scene. salvador was reportedly in good health. NeW YorK – Ambassador Lourdes Yparraguirre has denied abusing her former maid, 59-year-old milagros Braza, who filed a complaint of maltreatment against the ambassador. According to reports, Department of foreign Affairs spokesman Charles Jose said they were looking into the allegations made by Braza against Yparraguirre, the Philippine permanent representative to the United Nations. Yparraguirre said Braza was considered and treated as a part of the family as she had worked as house staff with family members for a total of almost 15 years, including as service staff for 5 years in the official residence of the ambassador who was assigned in Vienna from June 2000 to April 2015 and in New York for almost a year.
