Supreme Court will not rehear Obama immigration plan the supreme Court on monday, october 3 declined to rehear President Barack obama’s immigration plan which would have spared millions of undocumented immigrants from deportation. this upholds the 4-4 “non-decision” of the United states v. texas case in June which killed the president’s immigration initiatives. Filipina in Florida charged in professor’s killing PoLICe in tallahassee, florida have arrested a filipina on saturday, october 1 for her involvement in the murder of a florida state University (fsU) law professor. the suspect is 31-year-old Katherine magbanua who is the third to be arrested for the murder of Daniel markel, who was shot and killed in his garage on July 18, 2014. he was shot in the head twice while sitting in his car.
