Pacquiao could be pitched against WBC junior welterweight titleholder terence Crawford, and even have a rematch with floyd mayweather Jr., according to Arum. “if he wins this fight, we have the idea for a couple of big fights next year. And i think that will end his career with two more fights in 2017,” Arum told reporters. “Crawford is a possibility, and who knows, mayweather may be a possibility. You know, mayweather’s making noises about returning and going to a 50th fight.” Pacquiao lost to mayweather by a unanimous decision in may 2015. “Let’s see manny with a fully-healed shoulder. i think manny would give a lot better account of himself in that fight. i thought it was a very close fight. i thought manny could have won that fight. fiLiPinos everywhere are reacting to donald trump’s comments that suggested a ban on immigration from areas with high rates of terrorism, including the Philippines. At a rally on thursday, August 4 in Portland, maine, the republican presidential nominee once again criticized the United states immigration system for what he believes is its leniency, allowing terrorists to enter the country. he proposed that immigrants from several many countries should be heavily scrutinized, even those who obtained citizenship legally. he named a number of alleged cases of naturalized immigrants who he said had committed or were plotting acts of terrorism. he described the system as a “trojan horse” that allows terrorists to easily come to the country, without being thoroughly vetted. in one instance, he alluded to the case of sohiel omar Kabir and ralph deleon, two immigrants living in ontario, California who were both sentenced to 25 years in prison for PAGE A2
