During the hustle and bustle of the holidays, leave the dashing to the reindeer and take your time to ensure you arrive safely at your destination. Another way to stay safe on the road during a time that may include increased celebrations is to designate a non-drinking driver. Unfortunately, more than 1,000 drivers did not heed this advice prior to the Christmas Day maximum enforcement Period (meP) in 2018, resulting in 1,166 arrests by ChP officers for driving under the influence. “our goal at the ChP is for everyone to get home safe. A landmark peace deal with the largest of the rebel groups, the moro Islamic Liberation front, was sealed in 2019, however the Islamic state-aligned BIff and Abu sayyaf were not included in it. In December last year, two people died while 35 were

wounded when a bomb went off outside a shopping mall, believed to be incited by Islamic state-linked militants. the star states that the Islamic state has been stepping up its strategy of absorbing existing insurgent groups around the world as its “caliphate crumbled in the middle east. PresIDent Duterte urged Bangsamoro officials to make the Bangsamoro government work so that the economy would thrive and women no longer had to work abroad for their family to survive. At the same time, the president urged other moro areas not yet covered by the Bangsamoro Autonomous region in muslim mindanao (BArmm) to opt to be included so that they would be part of the development and progress of the whole autonomous area. he said that some of the women in the Bangsamoro would opt to borrow money so that they could go abroad to work but often ended up being raped and abused. the president said this was the reason there had been a high incidence of suicide among overseas filipino workers (ofWs). he said that if Bangsamoro could make its governance work and the economy would thrive, women no longer had to go abroad to work. “(so), it’s important to creT GH U CA ICO !
