hAPPINess is in the air for a “record-high” number of filipinos — at least according to a nationwide survey conducted by the social Weather stations (sWs) from Dec. 8 to 16, 2017. Based on the survey, 94 percent of filipino adults said they were “very/ fairly happy,” while 92 percent said they were “very/fairly satisfied.” “this is 4 points above the 90 percent very/fairly happy in september
2017, and 3 points above the previous record of 92 percent in June 1996,” the sWs said in a media release on tuesday, march 20. for the “very/fairly satisfied,” the sWs said it was “4 points above the september 2017 score of 88 percent, and 2 points above the previous record of 90 percent in september 2016. It has been scoring at the upper 80s since september 2014.” mindanao had the most number of “happy” filipinos with 96 percent, followed by luzon with 95 percent, Visayas with 94 percent, and metro
