OLDER people may soon be able to get a fourth COVID booster after it was announced that Pfizer and its partner, BioNTech, plan to ask the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for emergency authorization for a second COVID-19 booster shot for those 65 and older. WHILE influenza activity continues to be mild in the region this season, there has been an increase in cases over the past two weeks, the County Health and Human Services Agency announced on Wednesday, March 16. Sixty lab-confirmed influenza cases were reported in San Diego County the week ending March 12, up three from the 57 infections reported the week before and 29 more than the 31 cases reported the week prior. The victim was entering her apartment building in Yonkers when she was attacked from behind by the suspect. Documents from the EDD will now be available in Arabic, Armenian, Cantonese, Farsi, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer (Cambodian), Korean, Mandarin, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai, and Vietnamese.
