Budget cuts impact registration for the 2019-2010 year Registration has historically been a time of anticipation and anxiety for students attempting to choose their classes for next year. On Thursday, Jan. 24 the process became more uneasy when students were warned they would no longer be able to change their classes the following year due to budget cuts. With that option now gone, many are forced to be more selective with their class choices.

School cancellations affect students and classes All in all, EHS students have missed 5 days of school and had 2 late starts this year due to bad weather. Due to the surprisingly large number of snow days this year, some teachers have had to adjust their schedules accordingly. Most teachers are not able to assign certain material over snow days, creating a preparation burden on both the students and teachers. In addition to the lost test preparation time, students have become less accustomed to having a full five-day week.
