Selected Teaching Experiences 2019 Instructor in Intro to Music: Material and Design, University of Chicago Teaching a compulsory core curriculum introductory course in music that is intended for students who are interested in exploring the language, interpretation, and meaning of music through coordinated listening, analysis, and creative work.

2015-19

Instructor in Masterpieces of Western Music, Columbia University Taught a compulsory core curriculum course for undergraduate students. The goal of the course is to prepare students with a deeper understanding of western classical music and to provide them with intellectual insight and appropriate vocabulary for critical observation and discussions of music.

2016

Adjunct Professor in Introduction to Music, Montclair University Prepared and delivered a weekly three-hour lecture on critical listening and deeper understanding of western art music through studying selected pieces from the history of western art music and reflecting on the social-political context of their creation.

2018

Advanced Composition I, Columbia University Worked as a TA for Prof. George Lewis in advanced music composition course for music major undergraduate students. Responsibilities included giving lectures providing individual lessons, organizing concerts, and assisting with rehearsals.
