Throughout her entrepreneurial journey, Alexandra's most significant learning experiences have shaped her understanding of running a business The importance of getting up early is one priceless lesson she emphasizes She learned the value of making the most of her time when she awoke with the sun Mornings were her haven, allowing her to methodically prepare and ensure that each day was perfectly arranged Having the continuous support of loved ones boosted her confidence and motivation as someone who had struggled with self-esteem

Marketing is the most difficult thing for Alexandra to master She acknowledged that she was not very proficient in technology and that it was difficult for her to draw clients and build a solid network profile People that help her promote her tasty goods on social media are the ones for whom she is most grateful She knew that despite the expenditures involved, resources needed to be devoted to marketing because of its crucial use for attracting customers

of Alexandra Ali Bilas, owner of Cookie ng Ina Mo.

In the challenging year of 2020, Alexandra's path as an entrepreneur started with a straightforward wish to impress her significant other, who had an insatiable sweet tooth Alexandra began a brave baking expedition despite having no training in the culinary arts Failures did not break her passion in baking pastries, she persistently experimented with recipes till she came up with her own original delicacies that won over the hearts and palates of her adoring parents and her significant other At this point, Alexandra considered pursuing her newfound passion as a business that thrived after the praise and continuous support from her loved ones She overcame her initial hesitation, which were fuelled by worries about financial matters and low self-esteem, and realized that this was her calling

When asked for advice for rising business owners, Alexandra highlighted the value of persistence She pleaded with them not to give in to fatigue or uncertainty Even if obstacles may appear, she feels that quitting up simply leads to disillusionment in oneself Never let hard effort go to waste; replace doubt with unwavering commitment. Despite her present dedication to finishing her studies, Alexandra sees her business improving in the next five years She can't wait to introduce a larger variety of outstanding recipes and put her thoughtout plans into action She is determined to set a sensible budget, steadily grow her business while refining her culinary abilities despite the financial challenges she encounters Since Alexandra entered the field of entrepreneurship, her life has been profoundly changed and has undergone a transformation It made her realize the constraints she had placed on herself when she thought of becoming a lawyer or a doctor so she could appease her parents She found true happiness, a natural sense of order, and the drive of a perfectionist through her business As she embarked on her entrepreneurial path, Alexandra realized that she wanted to lay in the study of psychology Intrigued by the intricacies of the human mind, she yearned to delve deeper into understanding people and extend a helping hand

For Alexandra, success is not a mere destination but an ongoing journey Achieving success entails a lifelong commitment that calls for consistency, constant dedication, and the unceasing investment of time and effort Alexandra modestly thinks that she has not yet achieved actual success, despite her many accomplishments Alexandra sees herself and her business as a sought-after supplier for restaurants’ and bakeries' need for high-quality bakery goods, making her unbelievable dreams a reality of horizons

Having enough tools, financial status and manpower are the three things that one should consider when starting their own business according to Mrs. Malaborbor. She emphasized that the most important factor that a starting business owner or a business owner should consider is their financial status. Since the food industry is a dynamic and everchanging industry that offers entrepreneurs an exciting roller coaster ride of experiences, one should always have a back up plan in case everything does not go according to plan especially in terms of money.

Five years from now, Mrs. Malaborbor sees her business flourished since food business is a lucrative business. You just have to maintain good service and good quality of food that you serve, given the fact that their business is franchised meaning it already has a business model that you will have to follow.

Business has the remarkable ability to transform lives, opening doors to new possibilities, personal growth, and financial independence

As for Mrs. Malaborbor, her business changed her life by being able to help others, specifically her employess. For her, it is a good feeling that they were able to generate jobs that can give opportunities to other people to earn money for their means of survival. As the business is still on-going, Mrs. Malaborbor can’t say that her business is successful. Evaluating a company ' s success is a difficult task that goes beyond monetary achievements. Profitability, customer satisfaction, market recognition, and personal fulfillment are all components of true success. While monetary gains are unquestionably important, they are only one aspect of the overall picture. A successful business prioritizes not only profits but also the happiness and satisfaction of its customers. It works hard to build a strong market reputation and gain recognition for its products or services.

Running a demands immense commitment, perseverance, and a willingness to make sacrifices in various aspects of life. her family is her biggest sacrifice in order for her business to continue to function.

For Mrs. Malaborbor, there is no shortcut for success. Success is not having so much wealth, it’s a fulfillment that you make something good out of the ordinary.

RISK LEADS RISK LEADS TO SUCCESS TO SUCCESS

Since milk tea got popularized in the Philippines, Mr. Christian and his girlfriend have been drinking it every day. Considering they have been drinking milk tea ever since the outbreak of the pandemic hit, they chose to start their own milk tea business in order to make money from their passion. They are certain that this will be a huge hit because many people now enjoy drinking milk tea, particularly teenagers with a sweet appetite. Now, they have a gorgeous physical store with a refreshing and invigorating ambiance that people will like visiting. Although it is quite small, it is still a good starting point for them to develop their own business and expand it in the future.

During their business journey, Mr Christian and his girlfriend learned the value of time given that time travels quickly and you must make the most of it Additionally, they also gained knowledge on how to establish an entrepreneurial business mindset because they learned that they must be innovative with regard to how they will sell their products and also how to be adaptive and flexible because market demands and trends change regularly. As a result, a business owner must be prepared for these changes and be creative in their pursuit of financial success.

The most difficult aspect of being an entrepreneur is dealing with an angry customer who has numerous complaints when deliveries are late and orders are incorrectly filled because the workers are tired and stressed out, thus mistakes and errors are unavoidable, yet Mr. Christian extends his patience because he believes that "the customer is always right" because your customers will be the reason for your success. They will always buy and come back to you if they are happy and pleased with your products and services, which is why each customer should be valued and their grievances should be heard.

When Mr Christian was asked what advice he can give to prospective business owners who were also interested in starting their own businesses, he emphasized the need for being a risk-taker as one of the key characteristics that a business owner must possess It is important to not be afraid about trying anything new because you will learn a lot about yourself and about how life works Being curious and ready to take risks was one of the things that helped their business grow because if they hadn't tried, they wouldn't be happy and contented today. They would much rather act and do something than wait for a miracle and do nothing.

Mr. Christian is one of many business owners who believe that in the future, their business will be profitable and have several branches around the country. When he was asked how he envisioned the company ' s growth in the following five years, he recalled a business partner who franchised their previous business. Their business partnership started out well, but after a while, conflicts and monetary difficulties caused instability, so they decided to separate ways Hehas now established a new business nd they are now because they are rything and do ey stated that the dramatically in and time since r business in ontrol. According to the owner, he views success as having fulfillment and flexibility to run your business the way you want it to. And they have already achieved that level of success, and their business has the potential to expand even further and have multiple franchises in the future, but for the time being, they will focus on developing the growth of their own business first, and the day will come when they will be ready to form newpartnerships.

We all have the freedom in starting up our own business but capability and dedication are only limited to gifted people. Sometimes launching a business is based on what destiny wants us to be, maybe this is the path that the universe wants us to take - for the better and for our own good.

People differ in experiences which makes their journey unique, and what works for one individual may not necessarily work for another. Today, we have the privilege of learning about the entrepreneurial world and the journey of a successful business with the help of Mr Khendrick Dela Merced, an 18-year-old entrepreneur who recently started his online business.

His online business specializes in selling a variety of designs and sizes for shoes catered for different preferences. Khendrick Dela Merced comes from a family with a business background. His family operates "Ilocano's Pancit Caballo '' near Doña Manuela Elementary School. In addition, Khendrick mentioned that his mother previously managed a tiangge, a small marketplace.

His idea of starting a business began when he stumbled upon a video on TikTok where the content is about individuals drop-shipping shoes from China to the Philippines. The video ignited his interest leading him to have the possibility of starting his own shoe business. Without hesitation, the next day Khendrick and his partner made a logo and his entrepreneurial journey began.

Khendrick's Online Shoes Business

LAccording to Khendrick, he views his business as successful when the amount of money they receive is substantial. Currently, they have not withdrawn much of their earnings and are primarily reinvesting the money back into the business. He anticipates that maybe by the end of this year, they can truly say that it's a real success.

One advice Khendrick could give to the aspiring future entrepreneurs as stated by him, “They should find out what business they are going to enter. It's difficult to commit to a business, especially if they are not sure about the path they are entering. And of course, trust in oneself and in the people, they will be within the business ” His experiences and insights will

serve as an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs

D.E. CURTAINS THE THREAD OF SUCCESS: From a Pandemic Idea to a Thriving Business

Jason's Experience in Funeral Parlor Industry

A strong desire and motivation were the key factors on the start of Mr Atienza's Funeral Parlor The idea of starting a business originated from Mr Atienza's father, who had established the business initially As a successor to his father's business, he took on the responsibility of continuing it His father had a wide circle of friends who were also business owners, and one of them happened to be from Bulacan and owned a funeral parlor business. Recognizing the spaciousness of their location in Bacoor, Mr Atienza's father saw an opportunity and made the decision to establish his own funeral parlor business. Additionally, he considered the opportunity to assist his friends in need and provide quality service to funeral clients This led to the start of their business

Throughout Mr Atienza's business journey, he gained several significant learnings from his experiences. One of the key lessons he learned as a business owner is

the importance of taking personal responsibility.

Regardless of the size of the business, he emphasised that it is crucial for an owner to maintain a focused mindset and have clear goals Passing responsibility to employees may result a lack of understanding about the in-and-outs of the business and an inability to personally address arising issues. By actively participating in the day-to-day operations, the owner can better identify problems and take the necessary steps to ensure the success of their business.

Mr. Atienza reflects on the challenges they faced in their funeral parlor business during the COVID-19 pandemic The most difficult aspect during this period was their lack of preparedness. Given the sudden surge in deaths and the increased need for healthcare services, they initially struggled with handling deceased bodies and implementing proper safety measures As people perceived COVID-19 to be airborne, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) became crucial.

While they had already been wearing PPE during their regular operations, the pandemic necessitated the adoption of double safety precautions This unexpected situation highlighted the importance of adaptability and the need for entrepreneurs to quickly respond to unforeseen challenges.

Mr Atienza used to be shy He doesn't usually talk to people because his father is really strict about staying at home, so even when he goes out he doesn't do anything. At funerals, there are people who need help And because of that, since then, He have learned to deal with people and win the hearts of those he talked to. So all the clients become their family. He also added "at the end of the day, lahat ng tao darating doon May manganganak, may mamatay, at may mawawala Kaya malaking part ang pagkakaroon ng respeto."

For Mr. Atienza, money is not the only factor in success In

order to be able to say that you are successful in something, you must learn how to communicate well with others. For him, success means you know how to interact with your clients as well as others, and helping people

When Mr Atienza was asked the question "Do you believe you ' ve achieved that success?" He said that It would be far too far to compare his life then and now He used to have a small house back then and he previously had to borrow or work hard for the things they wanted. Him being a father, he doesn't want their children to experience what he had experienced before

Satisfaction of Expectation

A delighted day, composed of different cravings until I saw the ambience of this restaurant For me, this is a perfect place for everyone and for everything as it can cover all the needs and wants of a customer This small local business is a well-known unlimited samgyup for Bacoorenos as most teenagers, celebrants, and or just a small gathering go here to spend quality time It's not that big, not that small, I'd say it's enough for a family or a group of friends to have quality time here at Bacoor’s Castillo House of Unlimited

Starting off with the essentials they serve, this Castillo House of Unlimited offers different varieties of Korean cuisines, such as unlimited wings, monster burgers, takoyaki, and milk tea. The meats, vegetables, and side dishes are well-served and presented which only signifies how this restaurant and employees value the importance of food presentation. I guess this is part of their strategy in calling the senses of people, especially since most customers look for a place where it is instagrammable. Moving on, the food are delicious, most especially the monster burger, it’s a ten of ten for me.

Cutting everything short The ambiance,

Let’s now move on to their service. It was also good, I’d say it’s fair enough. The waiters and staff are one call away, when you have concerns or when you need something, they are happy to assist you. In addition, they are approachable like they prioritize what their customer needs. Overall, they are friendly, skilled, and dedicated. If I were to recommend something, maybe they can improve the professionality and then the rest is a perfect ten as well for me.

the quality of food, experience, and price of food were all amazing. As I also mentioned earlier, they can improve their mentioned earlier, they can improve their professionality and other than that, I’m satisfied with all the food and services they offer. Castillo House of Unlimited is one of the best samgyup restaurants at Bacoor. Along with the meals, I do highly recommend you going there, give this restaurant a shot, and experience it yourself As a fellow customer, I’m sure everyone will enjoy all they offer aside from the unlimited samgyup It will surpass your expectation, to satisfaction

LATONIO'S FOOD HOUSE: A BUSINESS JOURNEY

INTERVIEW WITH JUNE AND JOY

Hands on owners of Latonio's Food House, representing the significance of product quality and customer satisfaction.

Before the pandemic happened, June was working as an OFW seaman leading June and Joy to be separated and far from each other What inspired them to start up their long dreamt business is when they finally got together which happened when the pandemic started The first business they tried was with school supplies such as printing After some time, they started thinking of a new business they thought of what might people need during those pandemic days As a new business, June and Joy thought of starting a food related business. They tried and tried until it finally grew.

These products are also very affordable for everybody as they knew it was still the pandemic and people are still having a hard time getting back up June and Joy's most significant learning experiences during their business excursion was communicating with everybody in their business. They learned how to communicate with their employees and made sure they can express their thoughts to us in order to have a closer relationship with them too. In running a business, they also meet new and unique

people every single day such as new customers and clients Inconveniences are also present every time, an example of this is complaints from customers As the founder and owner of this business, they have to comply and act upon these complaints and reassure their customers that those will be work out. Our main goal here is to make sure that when our customers eat here, they'll want more of our food which will end up to them coming back to our place.

There are 3 main difficult aspects that were faced by June and Joy and are still facing as of right now. These 3 aspects are financing, host control, and workplace management. First is financing, in this aspect, they had a hard time budgeting all of their income for their expenses. They had some difficulties in making their prices affordable for everyone. Second is host control, the difficulty they face in this aspect is maintaining their organic products, products that can easily expire. Lastly, the third aspect is workplace management. They had some struggles teaching their staffs on how to operate everything there is in their workplace Although, they already expected that the staff wouldn't learn it instantly.

1 1

Joy emphasized the importance of pursuing one ' s passion and doing what one truly desires June highlighted the necessity of being hands-on for the business to succeed

They believed that diligence, along with the law of attraction, manifestation, and prayer, were crucial ingredients for success.

Unli Wings P259.00

They viewed success not solely in monetary terms but as the satisfaction derived from their customers' experience. They believed that success for themselves was tied to the success of those around them. Setting goals and achieving them through hard work were seen as steps toward realizing their dreams

As an owner, you must know all the movements of your staff. To make sure that the product is quality and your customer will be satisfied and will come back again. For June and Joy nothing is impossible if you really work hard for that They believe in the "law of attraction", manifest and along with diligence and prayer

For June and Joy, Success is not all about money but it's all about satisfaction. They hold the conviction that circumstances will align in their favor when the moment is right. They define success if people around them are also successful, Because they would not have achieved what they have now if it weren't for the perseverance of those people. They added that you need to set a goal and once you achieve that goal, that can be considered a success For them, little by little, with hard work, and prayers everything we dream of will come true

Indeed, launching a business requires a man to be very responsible Having the same thought as Jason Atienza, a multi-business owner of Bacoor City, that aside from giving good service, it is also important to look at the business industry as a developing friendship with consumers I’d say Jason is one of the most excellent businessmen in the city, the way he emphasized the importance of being generous to clients, I can already tell how much success and praises he has earned Making a first step at Bacoor City’s famous resort, Kubo ni Tatay, an excitement took place to us, interviewers, as we are about to meet the owner of different denominations in Bacoor City

P R I V A T E R E S O R T A N D P A V I L I

It’s true that there are lots of challenges, all people have encountered and suffered from it. For Jason, it’s not actually the money he is being challenged, but how he can help people who lost their loved ones - note that Jason also owns a funeral service. He thinks about how he can deal with the families without making things so hard for them. Sometimes in business, it is important that we empathize with our clients, cutting off our self-fishness and try putting ourselves in their shoes, and that’s the best way of understanding business at a deeper and next level. In short, good service with a heart must prevail everyday.

Sighting the pool, cottages, and garden gave a glimpse of the story behind all of the places. One of the things he told us is that there is nothing to consider our money as wealth when you don’t have friends, and in connection, he added that businessmen should always look to business as building connections with clients. “Sobrang yaman mo kapag marami kang kaibigan.” What is the purpose of your wealth when you only focus on being ahead among all the businesses and striving on being the most superior. If clients are short in budget, then maybe it’s time to be considerate. I mean if we are financially stable in our business, we can at least lend some help. Being able to help people through small things and being able to make friends, that is where we can measure how much success and wealth we’ve earned.
