St. Pete Beach, Florida, provided the perfect backdrop for several days of high-level discussion during this year’s Executive Leadership Conference from October 20-22. The two-and-a-half day program brought the industry together for a program filled with thought-provoking presentations and an
opportunity to engage in unparalleled peer-topeer networking. Innovation, tariffs and the economy, artificial intelligence, and the secrets of effective leadership were just some of the topics discussed –and there was also plenty of time for some downtime and enjoyable social activities including a few rounds of golf,
an island tour, and a cornhole tournament!
The next few pages are filled with a selection of photo highlights from this memorable event. Thank you again to everyone who was able to join us at the Don CeSar hotel and make sure you keep checking back on the ASC website (ascouncil.org) for news about future meetings.

ASC is excited to announce that rather than running a separate Sustainability Summit each year, we are taking all the learnings from the past four years and incorporating coverage of this important topic into our annual Convention from April 2026! This will strengthen the fantastic program we’ve got planned for our next
event, improving on the educational offerings available.
This September, ASC was proud to have once again drawn together the entire adhesive and sealant value chain to our annual Sustainability Summit to discuss this increasingly important issue that's top of mind for everyone in the industry. One of the most pleasing
and unique aspects of this year's Summit was the level of interaction among the attendees compared to previous events. For example, this year’s meeting offered everyone several different tracks where attendees could make choices about which presentations they wanted to join. These concurrent

sessions really allowed everyone to tailor the agenda to suit their needs and enabled the type of peer-to-peer conversations that make events like this so powerful and enlightening. The feedback for this new approach was extremely positive, with the structure really helping to stimulate engaging discussions as well as boost the networking opportunities.
Among the many highlights at the recent meeting from September 22-24 were sessions featuring Marc Benevento, President of Industrial Market Insight, who talked about considerations when producing electric vehicles; Rui Resendes, Director of Partnerships and Business Development at Change Chemistry, who addressed the many challenges and opportunities posed by sustainable chemistry; as well as some fascinating panel discussions featuring key representatives from the adhesive and sealant industry. Thank you again to all of you who were able to join us at this year’s Summit and we look forward to providing more insight, analysis, and market commentary during the Annual Convention taking place next April. This past September, ASC President Bill Allmond headed across the Atlantic to visit several of our European friends and colleagues. His first stop took him to FEICA’s annual European Adhesive and Sealant Conference in San Sebastian, Spain. It provided the chance to not only listen into many enlightening presentations about the big issues currently
affecting the European markets, but also to reunite with the heads of other national associations, such as Vera Haye at IVK - the German Adhesive Association, and Lorna Williams at BASA, representing the UK and Ireland.
The second leg of Allmond’s journey saw him visit the world headquarters of Henkel in Dusseldorf, Germany,
followed by a trip to see Afera, which represents the European tape industry. While there, Allmond was also invited to speak at Afera's first European Tape Week, which was taking place in Thessaloniki, Greece. You can hear more about ASC’s European adventures by tuning into our free podcast, which will be uploaded on our page soon.

Each and every year on September 29, International Adhesive & Sealant Day highlights the importance of our industry and the positive impact we have. Most of the products we use on a daily basis share a common bond – they rely on adhesives and sealants to make them function effectively. Without glues, caulks, and the technologies that ASC members are responsible for creating, the world would quite literally come unstuck! That’s why this annual celebration is a great time to spend a few moments thinking about all of our contributions and how we are helping to make lives easier and more productive. Now in its third year,
this special day saw countless suppliers, manufacturers, and innovators showcase these essential products, processes, and technologies with some awe-inspiring stories shared across their social media channels. On behalf of ASC, we want to thank all of you for your hard work and dedication!
