JUMPS SEASON 2025/26

OWNER & TRAINER

Beauport (centre, light blue) on the way to winning the inaugural 1st Class Logistics Berkshire National Handicap Chase 2024, for Bryan & Philippa Burrough, Nigel Twiston-Davies and Toby McCain-Mitchell.

WELCOME TO ASCOT

Welcome to 2025/26 Jumps season at Ascot. We are pleased to be offering £2.5 million in prize money across our eight Jumps meetings from November to March. That works out at an average of more than £45,000 per race and we have 11 races worth £100,000 or more and no race will be run for less than £10,000.

We saw some top-class racing last season and high-quality performances with the likes of Chianti Classico, Pic D’Orhy, Lucky Place, Windbeneathmywings, Crambo, Lulamba and Jonbon recording impressive victories.

The first running of the Berkshire National last November went the way of Beauport and it was exciting to see him go on and run in the Grand National itself at Aintree. The 2025 Berkshire National is on Saturday 22nd November and is worth £75,000, run over the extended 3m5f trip.

The Grade 2 BetMGM Mares’ Hurdle, registered as the Warfield Hurdle, was run for the first time over two miles last season. It proved to be a very strong race with the winner, Take No Chances, going on to be third in Grade 1 races at Cheltenham and Aintree while the second, Kargese, won the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival and was third in the Punchestown Champion Hurdle.

The race takes place on Saturday 17th January this season and is worth £60,000.

Once again there are no early closing entry conditions for our three Grade 1 races – the Howden Long Walk Hurdle, the BetMGM Clarence House Steeple Chase and the Betfair Ascot Steeple Chase – to allow connections greater flexibility when making running plans.

We are all set for another thrilling Jumps season and look forward to welcoming you back to Ascot soon.

Yours sincerely,
