Rosa Velez THE MORNING SUN What is a vision of beauty? Have you seen the morning sun whose shades of yellow just brighten up one’s day? Yellow-orange, yellow-red, Yellow-ochre, yellow-gold, All these colors van Gogh foretold. Colors of beauty, colors of warmth, colors that tantalize one’s sight with food for thought. How sad, the blind man who craves the vision only his mind and his heart can feel. Yet he can really see far beyond the man who was born with sight. This is true beauty… This is true sight… Have you seen the Morning Sun?

WITHOUT RAIN Instead of the sunlight, give me rain. Rain, cleansing me of all those memories…

INSANE Rain is tears in disguise. Can’t hide those lies, Can’t hide the rain. The sun warms me, dries me, yet at times annoys me burning my skin, like flames… Like a whiplash— a whiplash, that’s constantly striking my skin… Beating like a drum, without rhythm. Beating like a dream, without rhythm. Beating without rhythm, Without rhythm, Without Rain… My life’s insane.
