The 2024-25 school year has been a celebration of learning and connection—a year where students and teachers alike embraced new ideas, grew as learners and as people, and expressed themselves in fresh and exciting ways. Our community has shown what’s possible when imagination meets action.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025, who have not only navigated the rigor of the IB curriculum with resilience and determination, but have also served as role models and ambassadors for our younger students—showing them what it means to live the “ASB Way.” Your leadership has been instrumental in shaping a culture of inclusion, curiosity, and courage.
This year also marks important milestones across the school. Congratulations to our performers, athletes, leaders, and CCA participants—including all those involved in ASB’s Community & Social Responsibility service learning. Each of you has contributed something meaningful to our community, and we are proud of the ways you’ve dared to stretch your thinking and try something new.
To our incredible teachers and staff—thank you. Your unwavering commitment, creativity, and care are the foundation of everything we do. You’ve inspired our students not just to meet expectations, but to exceed them, and to do so with heart.
The ASB Mission calls upon us to inspire all of our students to continuous inquiry, empowering them with the skills, courage, optimism, and integrity to pursue their dreams and enhance the lives of others. In our Year of Creativity and Innovation, we’ve leaned into this mission in every corner of our school—building a culture where trying, failing, tinkering, and succeeding are all part of the learning journey.
Whether you're graduating, moving on, or returning in August, your contributions to the ASB community are valued and appreciated. Once an Eagle; always an Eagle! As you head into summer, may you find time to reflect, recharge, and maybe even dream up your next great idea. Thank you for making 2024-25 a year of learning and meaningful connections!

A Message from your Principals
The Year of Creativity and Innovation: Imagining, Exploring, and Growing Together
What a year it has been! At ASB, creativity and innovation weren’t just ideas—we lived them. Whether we were solving real-world challenges, stepping into the shoes of ancient civilizations, or bringing stories to life, our students proved time and again that learning is an adventure.
One of the biggest highlights? Our MIT-inspired SOLVE initiative, where student ambassadors took the lead in designing ways to bring more nature onto our campus.
With imagination as their guide, they explored, designed, and prototyped, showing us all what’s possible when young minds take on big ideas. The spotlight also shined bright on the stage this year, as our Elementary School Musical, Dig It!, transported audiences back in time. With archaeologists Taki and Tut—and their fossil friend Lucy—leading the way, our students dazzled us with their talent, singing, acting, and storytelling their way through ancient history. Who knew learning about Greece, Egypt, and Mesopotamia could be so catchy?
Meanwhile, the Sanskriti Center kept India at the heart of our learning with Handspun Histories, an exhibition that wove together the rich traditions of our host country. And speaking of stories, our Story Sparks Book Celebration lit up imaginations all over campus, proving that the best journeys often begin with the turn of a page. But the learning didn’t stop with our students—our educators were just as busy! This year, ASB hosted international conferences on Physical Education and Leadership in Mathematics, collaborating with educators from around the world to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in our schools. And perhaps one of the most special parts of the year? Seeing our students take the lead in their own learning. During our Parents as Partners Learning Celebrations, families stepped into the classroom, guided by the very best experts—our students themselves! With excitement and confidence, they shared their progress, their growth, and their passion for learning.
Through every challenge and celebration, our students continued to grow—not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. Our data tells us we’re moving forward, but the real proof is in the kindness, curiosity, and confidence we saw in our class spaces every day.As we look back on this incredible year, we also take a moment to honor Coach Crecencio. A dedicated coach, teacher, and mentor, he inspired us with his unwavering kindness and passion for supporting students. His impact will always be felt in the spirit of teamwork, perseverance, and care that he brought to ASB.
So here’s to a year of creativity, innovation, and endless possibility. To our students, teachers, and families—thank you for making this a year to remember. The journey doesn’t stop here, and we can’t wait to see what comes n

As we turn the final pages of another unforgettable school year, we're reminded that every conclusion is but a gentle prelude to a new chapter. Yearbooks, by their very nature, celebrate past moments, yet also whisper promises of futures not yet written. Like a favorite playlist or beloved novel, this collection of memories offers both nostalgia and inspiration. In her acclaimed novel, "The Night Circus," Erin Morgenstern writes, “The future is never set in stone, remember that.” Her words resonate because each school year—filled with laughter and challenges, triumphs and growth—is its own narrative of possibility and becoming. We hope that your journey at ASB this year has encouraged you to write your story boldly, authentically, and unapologetically.
Though captured primarily in pictures, this yearbook tells a thousand stories—stories of friendships formed, lessons internalized, and dreams envisioned. It's a testament to your journey, a collection of experiences that will always remind you of who you have been and illuminate who you are becoming.
As you turn these pages, let the memories warm you, and then bravely close the book, ready to embrace whatever comes next. May this yearbook serve as both anchor and sail, grounding you in the joy of where you've been and empowering you to set course for the extraordinary adventures ahead.
On behalf of all of us in the Middle and High School staff, congratulations on a year well-lived. We hope you carry these memories warmly, boldly stepping into the bright possibilities awaiting you.
Warmly,

The biggest advice I can give to anyone out there in any grade, as corny as it sounds, is, don't stress yourself out too much. Everyone knows and has heard that "the future just gets harder" at some point, and I know onetoo-many people who I see stress because of that, so as corny as it sounds, don't let yourself be drained by it.
I don't mean don't worry about that summative you have next week, but instead, don't let the worry of it consume you. Study well, study hard, but always save time for what you like doing. Be it a hobby, friends or games, you *always* will have at least some time for it in any grade, and if you feel far too drained, take a break, and find some other time to study, but try to not procrastinate till the last second like I did many times haha!
Know that even if you procrastinate, get a low grade, etc., these things happen to all of us, it'll be okay, and you will get through whatever challenge lays ahead of you! Best of luck to you in the future, reader! :D

Among the hundreds of memories at ASB, Saisa volleyball remains closest to my heart. The games we won, memories we made, jokes we created. It was one memorable trip. I look forward to next year transitioning to a more responsible life. As Gandhi says, "Who's gonna carry the boats and the logs?"

The memories I’ve made here will stay with me as I continue to grow, and I’ll carry a piece of ASB with me wherever I go. Thank you for everything!

CRECENCIO GOMES - IN MEMORIAM
Coach Crecencio Gomes was a cherished member of the ASB community, a charismatic individual who touched the lives of so many in his various roles across the school. In his 18 years of service at ASB, Coach Crecencio mentored, taught, and coached thousands of students in our Elementary, Middle and High Schools. He was a colleague, coach, teacher, and coordinator, as well as a bottomless reservoir of positivity, cheering all of those around him to do and be their very best each day.
Coach Crecencio lived a life of purpose, embodying the values of love, service, and humility. He strived to make a positive impact, and his legacy reminds us to be compassionate, to lift others up, and to embrace each day with the same enthusiasm that he brought to ASB. Our community thanks Coach Crecencio for the gifts he shared with us. His legacy remains woven into the fabric of ASB, and he will always be remembered with admiration, appreciation, and affection.
