Le quartier féerique du Sablon est depuis bien longtemps déjà reconnu comme le lieu des meilleures galeries d’art. Une soixantaine de galeries proposent, tout au long de l’année, des œuvres d’art et des antiquités de premier rang.

Comme le veut la tradition, la nouvelle saison s’ouvrira en septembre par les journées portes ouvertes du “Brussels Art Square”.

Chaque année, “Brussels Art Square” donne l’occasion d’apprécier le caractère international du marché de l’art. Les meilleurs marchands d’art internationaux viennent se joindre aux galeries locales.

Cette année, nous accueillerons, du vendredi 20 au dimanche 22 septembre inclus, “European Friends of BAS”.

Nous traverserons les frontières internes de l’Europe, mais aussi celles des différentes disciplines artistiques. Nous découvrirons ainsi des collections rares provenant de Belgique, Allemagne, France, Italie, Espagne, des Pays Bas, de Grande Bretagne, mises en dialogue avec celles du Sablon.

Une chance unique de découvrir la fine fleur du marché de l’art européen en chinant durant ce week-end au cœur du Sablon bruxellois.

De feeërieke Brusselse Zavel is al jarenlang het mekka voor de betere kunstgalerieën.

Er zijn zo’n 60-tal handelaren gevestigd die doorheen het hele jaar kwalitatieve kunst en antiek aanbieden.

Traditiegetrouw wordt in september de aftrap van het nieuwe seizoen gegeven door gezamenlijk de deuren te openen tijdens de “Brussels Art Square”.

Het internationale karakter van de Zavel is elk jaar te voelen tijdens de “Brussels Art Square”. De beste buitenlandse handelaars mengen zich namelijk met de gevestigde galerieën.

Daarom wordt dit jaar van vrijdag 20 tot en met zondag 22 september gefocust op de “European Friends of BAS”.

Daarmee worden de grenzen binnen Europa, maar ook die van de verschillende kunstdisciplines, opengebroken. Er zullen verrassende deelnemers uit België, Duitsland, Frankrijk, Italië, Nederland, Spanje en Groot-Brittannië exposeren bij hun bevriende collega’s op de Zavel.

De unieke kans om het kruim van de Europese kunsthandel te ontdekken tijdens dit weekend op de Brusselse Zavel.

For many years already, the idyllic square of the Sablon is the setting for the better art galleries in Belgium. There are over 60 galleries which offer art, antiques and expertise all year around.

As the tradition goes, the new season is opened in September with the Open House: “Brussels Art Square”.

To further illustrate the international place of the Sablon in the Art World, every year we invite some of the best foreign galleries to co-exhibit with the established Brussels art galleries.

This year, from Friday the 20th until Sunday the 22nd of September, we’ll focus on the strength of Europe and hence this edition will be “European Friends of BAS”.

We’ll open our borders for the European countries and for all forms of art. There will be an exciting mix of galleries from Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the U.K. exhibiting with their colleagues from the Sablon.

It will be a unique possibility to discover this elite of the art world during this weekend at the Sablon in Brussels.
