Glow in the Park

On Thursday 2nd June Park Radio took to the airwaves from the Park in Diss to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Diss Town Council organised this wonderful event on the most glorious day of the year so far. There were crowds of people enjoying the sunshine, the music and good food and drink. Park Radio did what they do best by holding an outside broadcast playing requests for members of the public with five presenters from the team to represent Park Radio. Lots of fun, laughter and great music from Park Radio and from live bands; this was all followed by the lighting of the beacon and spectacular fireworks on the boardwalk to end the day.
