Friends and Family,

Theatre is a communal art. Artist and audience need each other. I am grateful that you are embarking upon this journey with me, once again.

We are humbled to share the fourth installment of this Mixtape cocnept with you. Each version has explored a different topic and has looked a little different. This exploration of experiences through lens of Black men is important.

My hope is that ths work illuminates and inspires. I hope someone sees themselves reflected on the stage, and I hope someone else feels a bit more empathy for those in their lives.

Empathy. We could all use a lot more of that. One of the great gifts of art is empathy. So, during this holiday season, this is our gift to you.

Personally, I am thankful for my family - those related by blood and those realted by love. I am grateful for everything my mother poured into me, including the ability to pour it back out to you. This show, and everything I do, is to honor her.

I am thankful for the aritsts that trust me enough to embark upon these journeys with me. I am eternally gratefully.

Thank you to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts for their continued support and investment in elevating Black voices.
