Fine, seasonal food is something we pride ourselves on at The Spread Eagle Hotel. Our beautiful High Street facing restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely festive lunch or dinner.
For a private dining experience you could book into our stunning AJR room with its period bookcases, beams, and stone fireplace or for more intimate occasions book into our smaller Cockpit room.
For larger groups celebrating the festive season, we can accommodate your party in our light and festively decorated Fothergill Suite with its own private bar and foyer. The Fothergill Suite is the perfect place to hold a group festive lunch or dinner and can accommodate up to 160 people.

Terms & Conditions
HOW TO BOOK
Please contact the Hotel to check availability for your chosen date. For all packages, parties and events, full prepayment of the balance is required no later than 14 days prior to your event. Pre-orders for food and wine are required at least 14 days prior to the event.
1. A non refundable deposit of £20 per person is required to secure the booking.
2. Final payment is due 14 days prior to your event. Any reduction in numbers at this stage will result, in the deposit being retained by the hotel. Final invoice will be based on final numbers 14 days prior to your event for those attending on the day, whichever is higher.
3. Cancellation of a confirmed event must be made in writing 28 days prior to the start date of the event to avoid any cancellation charges (any deposits already paid are non-refundable) Cancellation policy: 1-14 days prior to event, you will receive no refund, 14-30 days - 50 % refund, 30 days plus, you will receive a full refund minus your deposit.
4. Pre-orders will be required for your event. It is imperative for this to run smoothly that all guests in your party are seated at their tables by the time shown on booking confirmation. The Hotel will take no responsibility for any issues arising from guests not being seated on time.
5. The hotel reserves the right to make changes to the menu should problems occur with supplies.
6. Should you experience problems during your event, please contact the manager on duty during the event. It is very difficult to address and rectify problems after this time.
7. For party nights to be a success a minimum number of attendees are required, should numbers fall short on a specific night the Hotel reserves the right to cancel the event. At least 2 weeks notice will be given and a full refund or alternative night will be offered.
8. Our Christmas parties & NYE are not suitable for children and discounts are not offered for guests under the age of 18.
9. Cash, BACS (bank transfer) or credit cards may be used as payment. No other forms of payment will be accepted.
10. All prices include VAT at the prevailing rate. VAT receipts are available on request after the event has taken place.
