Reminder: Site Visits & Tours

Artessa Mound Harbor remains an active construction site. As inspections increase, we must keep non-authorized personnel to a minimum. You may be asked to leave if you stop by without an appointment.

We know many of you are excited to see the progress and may desire measurements, so if you have an urgent request contact Design Project Manager Kacie Brown and we can provide them to you before your final walk-through and/or move-in.

We appreciate your understanding and patience!

Prepare for Your Move to Artessa Mound Harbor

Your new home will be ready before you know it. Read up on insurance policies, share reconciliations and member orientations, and know what to expect for your move-in day scheduling communications.

We continue to work to get the best insurance premium for the cooperative. Knowing that Minnesota’s insurance market is volatile, we are working with the best providers and brokers. We understand we will only be able to give you the details of your loss assessment amount for your HO-6 policy sometime later in July and before the building certificate of occupancy.

We appreciate your patience and will provide all the necessary details that you will need to share with your insurance provider to secure your HO-6 policy before your move-in.

Share Reconciliation & Member Orientation Meeting

Thank you to the members who have turned in their move-in preference date forms; Katie and Nicole are beginning to confirm move-in dates with members and will be doing so until July 15.

After your move-in date is confirmed, we will begin scheduling your Share Reconciliation and Member Orientation meetings, generally occurring several days before move-in and after the building certificate of occupancy. These meetings take place at Artessa Mound Harbor.

The Share Reconciliation portion of the meeting is where you can finalize

and pay any outstanding share and variable share payment(s) and or personalization payments. You will also pay your prorated monthly member fee for your first month and your full second-month payment. You can also provide the necessary information for automatic (ACH) withdrawals from your monthly payments at this time.

We will provide you with your share reconciliation statements well before your meeting and after your move-in date is solidified so you can review your statements.

The second portion of your meeting is the Member orientation meeting. At this meeting, you will meet with one of our team members who will review and complete all the necessary paperwork to occupy your new home, receive your keys, and have a brief orientation of the community, which includes the amenity spaces, review your parking stall, how to access the garage, etc.

We will also share important information for your move-in day, like where the move-in carts will be, where to discard packing material and boxes, etc. We will provide more information on these meetings in the next update in mid-July after the move-in dates have been communicated.

Communication on Move-In Dates

Thank you to everyone who has submitted their desired move-in dates. We have received more than 30, allowing Katie and Nicole to start scheduling move-ins. We know this date confirmation is essential, and our team is working through all the logistics.

If you have yet to receive confirmation, please know our team will be reaching out to you by phone, followed by written confirmation of your move-in date. If you still need to turn in preferred move-in dates, you still have time! Please keep Nicole updated, and we’ll work with you to schedule your move.

“We currently live in Wayzata and are looking forward to moving to Artessa Mound Harbor because of the sense of community, proximity to the Dakota Traill and small-town atmosphere.

A fun fact about us? We are high-school sweethearts from Hutchinson. We enjoy outdoor activities, including boating, international biking trips with fun friends, and hiking with our dog Chole.”

Artessa Team Updates

From Kelli Kruschke, Director of Design

We’re excited to share our progress as the Artessa Mound Harbor “Lakeside Cottage” amenities begin to take shape.

Picture yourself walking into an inviting lobby with warm wood and classic tile patterns. Pops of bold colors are sprinkled throughout, grounded with lake-inspired details like nautical ropes and shades of blue. Timeless features like wood paneling and crown molding create a relaxing lakeshore escape. While the photos may look stark now, your vibrant community spaces will quickly come to life before your eyes over the next few weeks. Stay tuned!
