Chorora Farm was born in 2010, immersed in the mountains of the Sozorangan region in the province of Loja.
We initiated a research project to cultivate 10 different specialty coffee varietals, a to assess their disease resistance, production, and cup grades. With great results and having obtained prizes that certify the excellence in cup quality, we share our best practices with the small producers of the Sozoranga coffee association.
Together, we're forging long-term relationships focused on growing to stable, environmentally respectful production, fair prices, and rural community development.
Immersed in the mountains at 1300 masl to 1750 masl, a picturesque and serene sanctuary of breathtaking landscapes away from the city.
Surrounded by ecological reserves we’re part of the world dry forest reserve, we’re located 2km from Susuco, 10 km from El Tundo with primary walnut forests, 20 km from Jocotoco and we share boundary with Utuana forest. Chorora it’s a sanctuary for the grey-headed antbir, squirrels, bees, hummingbirds, and diverse wildlife. They provide a vibrant ecosystem with a special microclimate and natural water springs bron in the heart of the mountain that support life on the farm.
