PRAGUE'S ASTRONOMICAL CLOCK READS SPACE AND TIME From the food, to a 600 year old monumental clock, i learned more about the culture of CENTRAL EUROPE
PRAGUE IS IN THE CENTER OF EUROPE AND FOR THIS REASON IT EXHIBITS MANY CULTURES AS WELL AS IT'S OWN SPLENDID PHILOSOPHICAL HISTORY. A Clock that keeps time and follows the movement of the stars. Everyday swarms of people look upon this beautiful clock from 1410 CE, by imperial clockmaker Mikuláš of Kadaň and astronomer/priest/professor Jan Šindel.
It has a 3 dial face that can tell you where the sun moon and stars are it has an astrological element, and it still works after all these years. Parts of it that move include an hourly walk of the Apostle's which was added in 1787.A skeleton representing death and all other devices surrounding him saying no when he says come to them including Greed there's a Golden Rooster who caws. The Astronomical Clock is a Medieval Masterpiece. It stands tall and beautiful in the center of Prague, essentially a vault of the church's doctrine; the earth is in the center while the Sun and Moon spin around us
