EDITOR'S NOTE

In my first every issue of ARTECH magazine, I introduce the endless. Possibilities for artists living in central Europe, specifically Prague in The Czech Republic. There are ways to make an income of a few grand and art abroad, and wee discusses those ways here and throughout our brand. As you can see from our cover, the Astronomical Clock proves that the world has many more than the usual literal 7 World Wonders. For inspiration, explore the streets, invite your muse and yourself roam the old cobblestone roads. I founded this magazine as a public archival vault of my memories, artworks, fancies, and recommendations, as well as some of my professional advice and collaborations while traveling for work. This magazine is a showcase of the "DigiNomad" lifestyle like one of my mentors, Norman Hollyn, ACE, and so many others are beginning to explore. One thing that I love about traveling is how inspiring it is to get away from your home and then return there with a fresh perspective. It is as if you hit the reset button in your head on your home life when you leave and return. I am so happy to be back in America, although I loved Prague as you will soon see. Read on to accept your invite to the wedding of Art and Technology Magazine - ArtTech.

INTERNATIONAL DIGITAL NOMADS

Visiting PRAGUE and exploring the depths of MEDIEVAL ART AND ARCHITECTURE

The Prague Castle is at the center of Old Towne a stroll through the shops and it all leads hear in a vast circle of beautiful cobblestone roads.

As a writer/filmmaker growing up, I was always told to pick one path but I never could so I double majored in TV and Film Production plus Creative Writing. When I graduated from. UCSB I had two Bachelor of Arts Degrees, or B.A.'s and no idea what I wanted to do as an actual job. I kept combining my two loves into a single passion; film. For fun, I would interview fellow artist in La Vegas for my blog, Design hundreds of clothing items on my eCommerce store then eventually I would start an online course and teach other's to discover and build their own Multimedia Design Art Skills into sales.

The term Multimedia Artist is a somewhat new idea; beyond being the Creative Director or Art Director, both jobs I have done, you are more of a digital-only person. The things that you sell do not exist in this physical world, but they once Did. Let me give you an example of my selling files. On my last job for two weeks I sold digital I would say DIT, which is a digital imaging technician and they are the ones who get the cards on set and put them onto a hard drive. So the company supplies you with a round trip ticket as well as the hard drive the card reader the cars you just have to be position in a few staffers and really via the organized person. I was working for Amazon Prime through a Production Company based here in Los Angeles.

E ssentially, my job is to take media

Art Tech Magazine Manifesto

and transform it into something more digestible and neatly packaged for my audience and clients. Keep in mind that I am working with people I have never met and hired than people I have never met, but that is to be expected as in working as a digital nomad. Once we all fully understand that everyone can sell files, we will profit highly and sustainably from the sales. A Digital Nomad is someone who can take their laptop anywhere and make money. Musicians, Artists, Filmmakers, Fashion Designers, Photographers, and Spiritual Gurus all can be Digital Nomads with the right mindset.

Want another reason to say yes to that media-based job abroad; you will gain perspective and inspiration from strange foreign lands. As a former graphic designer and house hermit, I do declare the outside world, especially the lovely Prague as a classically romantic fairyland.

In September, we will release our exploration of Hawaiian Artist Dates and inspiring spots to visit like a local courtesy of a wonderful tour led by my mother and her best friend from High School Janice.

Join me, myself and my muses as I explore Prague in the Czech Republic in this first-ever issue of ART TECH Interactive Magazine.

PRAGUE'S ASTRONOMICAL CLOCK READS SPACE AND TIME From the food, to a 600 year old monumental clock, i learned more about the culture of CENTRAL EUROPE

PRAGUE IS IN THE CENTER OF EUROPE AND FOR THIS REASON IT EXHIBITS MANY CULTURES AS WELL AS IT'S OWN SPLENDID PHILOSOPHICAL HISTORY. A Clock that keeps time and follows the movement of the stars. In the center of fry won the Maine busy tourist center uptown you can BC tour groups in many languages Spanish Japanese Russian Chinese and English all explained in talking about the same thing simultaneously the astronomical clock. Everyday swarms of people look upon this beautiful clock from 1410 CE, by imperial clockmaker Mikuláš of Kadaň and astronomer/priest/professor Jan Šindel.

It has a 3 dial face that can tell you where the sun moon and stars are it has an astrological element, and it still works after all these years. Parts of it that move include an hourly walk of the Apostle's which was added in 1787.A skeleton representing death and all other devices surrounding him saying no when he says come to them including Greed there's a Golden Rooster who caws. The Astronomical Clock is a Medieval Masterpiece. It stands tall and beautiful in the center of Prague, essentially a vault of the church's doctrine; the earth is in the center while the Sun and Moon spin around us

This is the world's oldest surviving astronomical clock. The astronomical clock is a gorgeous piece of machinery, and it dates back over 600 years ago, yet it still tells the time and the placement of the planets and the Equinox calendar for holidays its maker was said to be blinded so he could not recreate his work anywhere else.

DAORBA DETAERC TRA The abstraction happened as the Here are some paintings and prose that I worked on while visiting Prague this year, August 2019. I definitely fulfilled a long how childhood dream of mine to be a Bohemian artist. The part of Central Europe I lived in for 2 weeks was named Bohemia 100 years ago. Bohemian Style is the beautiful hippy style I've always dressed in. When growing up, I would wear many scarves. Yes, sometimes multiple ones and even ones that I had knitted myself.

water's reflection seemed to fracture everything around me into one large orchestra, a melody of sight and sound.

THINGS TO DO IN PRAGUE (MOSTLY) FOR FREE 1. Havelské Tržiště market - Free This outdoor farmers Market in the center of Prague sells groceries and the most beautiful berries and fruit. Many specialty items are sold here by Artisans and Gardeners, making this is a great, affordable, and adorable place to shop for gifts. Open S-Su 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM. 2. Vltava Night River Stroll -  Free Walk alone for strength likes the couples do and go alone on a stroll at night down by the beautifully manicured Vltava River. Feel free not to make eye contact with a single person as you walk by and snap pictures.  Also, here is my actual Spotify Playlist from that faithful night and the photos taken live here. 3. Opera and Classical Music - $30USD Bring your student card, and they will honor it at the ensemble for you to be able to sit in the first few rows. I used my American Student ID card from USC. My Stunning and classy Hotel was called The Smetana Hotel, named after a famous musician whose Composed music I heard that evening at the concert linked above. 4. Wishes on Charles Bridge   - Free             Want to make a wish? Go to Charles Bridge. Here overlooking the  Beautiful Vltava river where you can go you can go over the bridge to Prague Castle. This Medieval Bridge is still gorgeously manicured and secure. Every day thousands of tourists cross it into Prague's center Downtown. I was blessed to have my hotel accommodations in Praha 1 and walk here on a brisk morning. To make your wish first, you place your right foot on a metal stud in the bridge, and then you can use your right hand to touch this image of someone laying over the river and make a wish  5.  Restorante   Italiano   - $10USD  Have a deliciously healthy Italiano Cappuccino outside in the center of Prague - Praha 1 ( Old Town Prague). The servers are all amiable, and the coffee is delicious and robust, so order water and drink it to relax as you write, paint, or take photos. 6. Visit the Astronomical Clock  - Free  As the Featured cover image, you can tell this clock grabbed me and didn't let go.   It is a simple walk to the center of town, and you can see the soul of this fantastic city. This Orloj in the center of Prague is the world's oldest astronomical clock, and yes it still works perfectly. Go on the hour for a particular show that happens with the apostles.

NIGHT STROLL BY THE RIVER the vltava river in prague, Czech Republic

Directly in front of my beautiful hotel is a long boardwalk that will take you on a stroll down the Vlata river. The temperature is pleasant and moderate, and the buildings offer a delicate conversation. These photos and this door are taken as snapshots of that walk. The places are not listed, but if you walk by the river starting at Smetana Hotel, then you cannot miss these stunning buildings and artifacts.

SMETANA HOTEL HAS MY HEART

As an African American person who is sometimes afraid of traveling around the world, I can confidently say that Prague was very inviting and I loved my hotel and would recommend it to anyone and everyone visiting Prague.

I loved staying in this classical, traditional town from the 13th century, which surprisingly had the most progressive and liberal social values. Smetana Hotel is an internationally diverse hot spot in the center of Old Town Prague.

I t has a magnificent five-star atmosphere, and it really

delivers. The room service from the restaurant is beautifully presented, and deliciously prepared traditional Slovakia food. The best meal I had the whole time I was in Prague was their Chef's Beef Goulash. When you go to Smetana Hotel, you must try their Artisan Italiano Pizza, which is very delicious and a good size even for two people. I ate it every day of my stay for my sanity, happily. Everyone on their staff went far beyond to help me. I even felt demanding since I work from my room as most Television and Film Editor's do. They are a lovely staff, and the environment and location are perfect for anyone who wants to be safe yet right in the middle of the fun and the action.

I loved my stay at the Smetana hotel so much that I am releasing a room tour of on youtube, premiering here in the October 2019 Art Tech Magazine issue.
