A team of qualified employees guarantees the production of high quality and tested products, as well as fast and flexible service in repair, service and maintenance work.
We are flexible in our activities and can be on-site with our customers in a very short time. Just a few hours after the arrival of a faulty maschine it´s prooved and a quotation is made and sent to the customer. After the release the maschine will be repaird as soon as possible. Spare parts for all standard machines are kept in stock, achieving a very short turnaround time. The service quality is also valued by our partners. This is underscored by the fact that HS-Technik GmbH has been the official service point for HIOS tools in Europe since 2010.

Go Green CO2 reduction Since environmental protection is of great concern to us, we rely on renewable energies. Our solar system supplies the power we require and fulfills all of our needs. We thus actively reduce our CO2 emissions. Thanks to efficient power management for our products, less power is consumed. The charger stations in the MV3 series charge batteries up to 95% full. Thanks to the special charging process, we optimize the cycle count of the battery, thus reducing industrial battery waste.
This is especially important for Li-Ion batteries, since these have reached their max. service life after approx. 1,000 charging cycles. HS-Technik also offers capacity meters for battery testing. These units assess whether or not a battery is still suitable for use in production.

Thanks to this process, several thousand batteries can be saved from premature and thus unnecessary scrapping each year.

Software With the user-friendly software all setting e.g. as the stand by function can be changed fast and easy. At each charging bay the complete charging process can be recorded and documented. With this feature we are able to adjust the charging parameters. A firmware update can be implemented via USB with a few clicks.
Feet for a foothold The feet of the MV3 charging stations are designed to stack several charger stations savely one above the other. The mechanical interlock cares for a safe foothold. Always four pieces can be mounted under and on top of the charging station. Four feet (unter the charger station )are in the delivery content. Automatic battery adapter recognition Battery adapter exchange without update of the board software possible. The board recognizes the battery adapter and performs the corresponding charging cycle.

Standby - Energy-saving function As soon as all of the batteries have been charged or the station is not in use, it will automatically switch to energy-saving mode. Power consumption in standby mode < 0.75 watts. Standby can be programmed for each charging slot. Each circuit board separately goes into energy-saving mode when not in use. As soon as the last circuit board is in standby, the power supply unit will shut off entirely.

Capacity measurement system KMS-2012 Capacity measurement system for checking Li-Ion, Ni-MH, Ni-Cd and lead batteries In production, power tool batteries are quite often sorted out as being â&#x20AC;&#x17E;defectiveâ&#x20AC;&#x153; although these batteries still possess more than 80% of their original capacity. Previously, these batteries were often replaced untested with new batteries. The unnecessary costs and unnecessary environmental burden due to this practice are frequently neglected. Here there are test methods that pay off even after a very short time.
With its wide measurement range, the new KMS-2012 offers the optimal solution for testing power tool batteries from all well-known manufacturers. During a battery test, a fully-charged battery is discharged purposefully. Here the KMS-2012 simulates a consumer, e.g. a cordless screwdriver and, in parallel to this, measures the batteryâ&#x20AC;&#x2DC;s capacity, power and internal resistance. The precision of the measurement of better than 0.1% with respect to the upper range value is unique.
After the measurement, the KMS-2012 automatically evaluates from the data collected whether or not the battery is still suitable for production. The limits are freely selectable.
The capacity meter KMS-2012 was developed to test the capacity of power tool batteries. The unit was designed so that it fulfills the requirements of modern battery technology. Li-Ion batteries with voltages from 4.2 V - 50.4 V [nominal voltage 3.6 V - 43.2 V] and current up to 40 A are testable.
Return into production instead of disposal
This way countless batteries that are incorrectly sorted out as defective are put back into the production process. If you calculate out the costs for the batteries that can be put back into production, the KMS-2012 usually pays off within a few months.

The test parameters can be set and the results of the measurement read using the 8.4â&#x20AC;&#x153; TFT touch display. It is even possible to display a graphic evaluation on the screen. Using two USB ports or one serial RS232 interface, measurement data from the KMS-2012 can be transmitted directly to a computer or saved on a USB stick. This way, it is possible to document measurement results and analyze them later.
Of course the KMS-2012 can be operated and programmed using a mouse and keyboard. Software updates are handled quickly and easily using the USB interface. The large 4 gigabyte memory offers sufficient space to store programs for the power tool battery used in the KMS-2012 so that only the right program must be selected and the right test box connected for testing.

Through the vibration following a NOK tightening the operator recognises additionally to the signal tone and the display on the OLED screen and the multi color LED, that the tightening was not OK.
Job / sequence1,2 Each tool can save different jobs / sequences. A job connects up to 8 programs to a sequence and starts them as defined. So the tool can process a workpiece with e.g. 3 short and 5 longer screws without changing the program. Jobs can be activated by different options as e.g. barcode, controller or as standard job (handmode).

Connected to a barcode scanner, it is also possible to activate several programs from the tool without reprogramming via USB1,2. After scanning a barcode, the tool compares the data available in its own database with the scanned data.
If this barcode is assigned to a program in the tool database, the tool activates the corresponding program and processes the programmed specifications. Also jobs can be programmed1. Of course the process data generated this way is saved on a SD card on the tool. 2 Gb
>150,000 tightening curves
The brushless high-performance motor is maintenance-free and maximizes the battery life. The high-performance Li-Ion batteries allows more fastening procedures per battery charge than customary Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries. At the same time, the new Premium Li-Ion battery packs are much lighter than customary batteries.
Quality assurance Thanks to a multi-stage tightening, required preload force and the desired clamping force in the connection are always achieved. In most cases, the multi-stage process1 allows compensation or elimination of subsidence.
The screwdriver can be programmed with reference values1 for the process. If the specified torque1, 2, 3 / angle1 / rpm / time1 reference value is not adhered to, the fastening procedure is evaluated as NOK, and this is indicated visually on the display (red and audible signal = NOK,
green = OK) (direct information to the operator). At the Light version the status will be shown via a mutli color LED control light. An integrated screw counter1 guarantees that all screws are fastened.
Torque-speed-regulation The advantages of this fastening procedure is that the screwing time is reduced by up to 50% as compared to a standard two-stage tightening. The screwing parameters adjust themselves dynamically to the type of joint. The power consumption is lower than that of a two-stage tightening since no stop and restart, braking and starting power is required. Thanks to the ergonomic and forceoptimized fastening procedure, the efficiency is increased significantly. The large, bright OLED display1 indicates the status of the tool at all times.

Unique on the market, the display indicates the battery status, the process results, as well as plain text and symbol displays for worker guidance and information. HST-Connect1,2, the wireless transmission systems for control of the tools and process documentation guarantee a smooth and seamlessly documented production flow. Blind rivet setting tools PowerRiv® Benchmark The process-monitoring batteryoperated blind rivet devices set new standards. The setting force and setting stroke of the fastener are monitored by the active force sensor with integrated distance measurement. The results of the setting process are compared to defined process parameters and evaluated live. The tool outputs an OK or NOK signal for the set fastener directly after each setting process.
The setting results are displayed visually on the OLED display1. In addition, the results can be sent to a controller wirelessly via, e.g. WLAN. From there, the setting results can be fed directly into the company IT system1. This ensures a seamless transfer of the results to the process and quality systems.
If the wireless transmission fails, the tool has storage space for up to 150,000 setting results which can be read out of the tool via USB. Optionally, the tool can be equipped with a barcode scanner. It can be used to document additional information such as the serial numbers of the installed components.

Process reliability
• Through the force controlled setting process, the NutBee® assures proper installation of the rivet nut. If adjusted correct, a stripping off of the rivet nuts thread and a damage of the threaded mandrel is prevented. In addition the force controlled process assures that all nuts are fully installed.
• The setting is e ecuting in several programmed steps: spin on / fastening via force / spin off
• The dynamic force-speed setting method guarantees a very high accuracy in the final force. +/- 10% Cmk >1.67 • The force of the tool can be individually adjusted for the setting process by means of more than 90 programs. An M6 steel nut can, for instance, be processed in different sheet thicknesses with program 70 (12.80 kN). Program software for HS-Technik Power Tools After connecting the tool with a C via US , the software allows a fast and easy adjustment of the tool settings. With as less as three clicks, the tool is connected with the PC and can be configured. A crucial advantage is that the software is delivered free of charge with the tools. Rivet test device enables reference measuring of rivet test tools! With the new rivet test device from HST it is possible to execute traceable and documented reference measuring of rivet test tools, e.g. of riveters and rivet nut setting devices according to valid norms for the first time. With help of the calibrated rivet test device it is possible to determine the quality of the tool, to document and subsequently get the release for the A-classified connections.

The execution of the tests always is carried out with the combination of the rivet test device, the original blind rivet or rivet nut from the charge of production and one or more steel stripes, which are similar to the original build parts in consistence and strength. Besides the quality evaluation of the tool it is also possible to get a conclusion about the rivet connection of the product.
Insofar not only the capability of the tools used in production (MCT – Machine Capability Test) but also the behavior in the process is simulated and documented with the aid of the new rivet test device. By executing further comparison experiments at a rivet spot a process capability can be proved. The management and documentation of the data happens, like already approved in the fastening process technique, by the standard software “QS-Torque” with the “QST-Rivets” module.

Blind rivet setting tools Riv Test Machine capability test The rivet test device from HST supports at evaluation of the quality of riveters and rivet nut setting devices. For checking the test devices also original rivets (for example rivet nuts) on according steel stripes are used, which are brought in by a stack into the measuring cell. With this not only the riveter is checked but also the complete rivet procedure with rivet and steel can be evaluated. The test device is available with stationary layout as well as mobile version layout. A measuring cell is equipped with transducers for power- and track measurement. The power measurement can be executed up to 20 kN (optional 50 kN on request). With the measuring cell the rivet power and the rivet track can be measured.
The measuring electronic covers the measuring amplifier and transducers for force and stroke. The test device will be equipped with the following Soft- and Hardware: • 1 License S-Torque • 1 License module ST- ivets • 1 Notebook DELL for e ecuting the software The notebook will be installed with the operating system Windows 7 Professional. It is also possible to install a specific Windows-Client. In this case the sequence of the installation must be discussed. A connection into a company’s network according to the company’s internal IT/guidelines is also possible.

Alternatively, two measuring cells with the according head can be used. For the different rivet devices different mouth pieces for the measuring cell are available.
