The project for the competition started with the research of new toy models wich can be used both by children or adults.

It should not be so difficult for a child, but not too easy either for adults.

El proyecto del concurso comenzó buscando nuevos modelos de juguetes con los que tanto niños como adultos.

No debía ser muy complicado para los niños, pero tampoco demasiado fácil para los más mayores.

That is when comes the idea about a catapult, an ancient machinery easy to build and open to many possibilities.

Así se llega a la idea de la catapulta, un mecanismo antiguo y efectivo de fácil construcción y muchas posibilidades.

For its construction 5 new pieces had been designed, which can be used to other sets too.

The mechanism works through a rubber band. Placed at different heights they modify the power of the catapult depending on the purpose to which it is triggered.

Para su construcción se han diseñado un total de 5 piezas nuevas que podrán ser utilizadas para otros sets de la marca.

El mecanismo funciona a través de una gomas elásticas que, colocadas a diferentes alturas, modifican la potencia de la catapulta dependiendo del objetivo al que se dispare.

Finally, the chassis of the catapult its made by a simple boxfrom our homes, in which we will have to make holes for the wheels and a big center hole for the lever.

Por último, el chásis de la catapulta la forma una simple caja que encontremos por casa, a la que tendremos que hacer unos orificios para las ruedas y uno central para la palanca.
