WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT WORKING WITH SERVICES MARKETING?
I truly love working with the military community. With years of experience working for MWR on other bases, this was a natural fit for me. I am the Commercial Sponsorship & Advertising Coordinator, which is a new role for me. I am excited to have the opportunity to learn new things.
WHAT DO YOU WISH THE AEDC COMMUNITY KNEW ABOUT COMMERCIAL SPONSORSHIP & ADVERTISING WITH SERVICES?
A great way to support the base and enhance events and programs put on by Services is by sponsoring. It is also great exposure for a business.
Advertising with us will connect businesses to our inclusive community and highlight that business' support for the base.

HOW DO YOU FEEL YOUR ROLE CONTRIBUTES TO THE OVERALL MISSION OF ARNOLD AFB?
Gaining sponsorship support is much more than just collecting monetary or in-kind sponsorship for events. The support does make MWR programs possible, which then improves the quality of life on base. That makes Arnold AFB more of an installation of choice, encouraging people to serve, stay or retire here, which also strengthens the local economy. Sponsorship support has a ripple effect far beyond a single event. sponsorship is much than monetary does make

TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE TO U.S. ACTIVE, RESERVE OR RETIRED MILITARY, DISABLED VETERANS, SPOUSES, AND DEPENDENTS, WHEN VALID MILITARY AND DEPENDENT IDS ARE PRESENTED.
The John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) of 2019 allows veterans (Purple Heart/Medal of Honor recipients, former prisoners of war, or with serviceconnected disability (SCD) and their guests) and other certain veterans use of the commissary, military exchange and certain Morale, Welfare and Recreation facilities.
DO YOU HAVE A VETERAN’S HEALTH IDENTIFICATION CARD (VHIC)?
The VHIC is the credential used to establish identity for the purpose of access control. A REAL ID-compliant (STAR) driver’s license is used to establish identity for the purpose of force protection. The VHIC establishes purpose both for the cardholder and for the cardholder’s accompanying guest. The card will only display the veteran’s name, picture, and special eligibility indicators on the front of the card, if applicable. Veterans will require a VHIC that displays “PURPLE HEART,” “MEDAL OF HONOR”, “FORMER POW,” or “SERVICE CONNECTED” below the photo on the front of the card for installation and benefit access.
