The Rag is one of London’s most prestigious private clubs with a military heritage - welcoming members from around the globe, all walks of life and from both military and non-military backgrounds.

WELCOME One of London’s hidden gems, situated in the heart of London at 36 Pall Mall and with views over St James’s Square, The Rag exudes character and charm, offering members a luxury home from home that’s familiar, comfortable and welcoming. The Club has an impressive 180 year history, founded in 1837 with the Duke of Wellington as one of its original Members.

Today, HM The Queen is the Club’s Royal Patron.

Originally a private club for military officers, the Club now welcomes professional men and women from both military and civilian backgrounds who like to enjoy all the benefits that club membership offers.

BUSINESS & CORPORATE Overlooking St James’s Square, our dedicated Business Centre offers the perfect flexible working environment for freelancers and professionals on the go. Our fully serviced office facilities, complete with hot desks, break-out spaces and at-desk catering options can be used for ad-hoc meetings, private working or a quiet space away from the office.

Members also have the opportunity to host meetings, from small, intimate gatherings, through to boardroom level and theatre-style events for up to 150 guests with all the audio-visual and conference call facilities you’d expect. In addition, the Club can offer a range of quick and easy refreshment options, including buffet style lunches and informal dining.

There is also a gated secure underground car park for ease of access and security.
