Your Letters Dear Editor, My favourite part of your magazine is the old school photos you print every month. I've been hoping a photo of my dad would turn up.. and woe and behold...this month, I'm over the moon to say he has. He is the young lad standing on the left with his his hand in his pocket.. He never lost that stance.. Bill Armstrong.. Aka. Billy or Anthony Armstrong of Lynton Avenue, son of George and Mary, who moved to Arlesey after the war. Brother to Moira, Linda, Stephen, Gary and Neil. Bill went on to work at Fairfield hospital, where he worked for many years and gained many qualifications. Unfortunately he passed in November 2019 in Madeira. All his siblings went to Etonbury.. so I will continue to keep an eye on the Memory Lane photos for my aunties and uncles. It would be nice to see a Fairfield hospital staff memory lane.. I'm sure there will be many families with photos and stories to share. Anyways, I just wanted to thank your your hard work and dedication to the magazine. Best regards Claire Armstrong.

North Herts Road Runners
The Standalone 10k is on 25 Sept and entries are now open. The first Sat of the month 5k at Letchworth Common will be on 2nd July at 9am. all details of these events are on our website nhrr.org.uk
We continue our training sessions with qualified coaches on Tues & Thurs evenings at 7pm. These are open to all runners from novice to experienced runners.
