News from St Peter’s Church

A Happy New Year to you all. Whatever you plan for 2023 we hope you will find peace and friendship.

There are lots of things to join in with in the village, including those at St. Peter’s Church, where you will always find a warm welcome.

As it gets colder, for some this may mean turning off their heating. St. Peter’s running the heating in church, it won’t be tropical, but with under floor heating feet can be warm. So if you want to come to a “Warm Hub” for a while, the church is open from 9am -5pm everyday.

There are books to read n the “Book Nook” , or you can add some pieces to a jigsaw in the North Aisle, or you can sit and be quiet or chat to anyone else who may pop in.

Services continue at the times below and we welcome visiting clergy to help during the vacancy. Everyone is welcome. On Sunday the 1st January we will be holding a joint Service at St. Guthlac’s church Astwick at 11.15am. If you would like to come and need a lift please contact us on the details below. There will not be a service at St. Peter’s on that day.

Services: Our service times are:1st, 3rd,4th,5th Sundays 9.30am 2nd Sunday All Age Worship 10.00am Refreshments served after each service an opportunity to chat and socialise.

Weekdays: Coffee Mornings Tuesday 10.30am in church 1st Wednesday in the month Afternoon Tea 2 - 4pm All Welcome

Now's the time to get your running shoes on for the New Year. our 1st Sat of the month 5k at Letchworth Common will be on 7 Jan at 9am. entry is free and the details are on our website nhrr.org.uk.

We continue our training sessions with qualified coaches on Tues & Thurs evenings at 7pm. These are open to all runners from novice to experienced runners.
