Long history conflict between North and South of Cyprus is much discussed in the headline even until today. Political issue always surpass environmental issue, which bring back the issue of Bird in Cyprus. Cyprus used to be flourished with variety species of bird migrating from all over the world. However, recently, the increasing number of the demand of “Ambelopoulia” (special and expensive cuisine from bird) have severely create an impact not just to environment but also to other industry such as tourism. Cyprus have been pressured with this issue from EU and seriously looking forward for any solution of this matter. Thus the beginning of the conflict between Culture eating habit and Environmental conscious.
