Kick-the-Can Ice Cream Materials:

• 1 cup of milk • 1 cup of whipping cream • 1/2 cup of sugar • 1 teaspoon vanilla • Ice • Rock salt • Large and small cans with lids • Newspaper • Tape

Instructions: 1. Pour the milk, whipping cream, sugar and vanilla into the small can. 2. Cover the can and tape well. Shake the can to mix. 3. Put a layer of ice and rock salt in the large can. Add small can and layer with more ice and rock salt. 4. Place the lid on the large can. Wrap newspaper around the can and secure with tape. 5. Kick or roll the can for about 10 minutes. 6. Remove the small can. Scrape the ice cream away from the side of the can. Put back in large can, with more ice and salt. Kick or roll for 5 more minutes. 7. Stir, serve and enjoy!
