LEITH RUN RECREATION CABINS The main goal of this project was to offer lodging at a section of the river that allows the most island stops for the kayak challenge. The project also augments on the existing infrastructure at the existing camp and extends its use to cater to hikers of the popular Scenic River Trail. The sets of cabins offer an elevated and practical stay in nature. They also tackle the drastic shift in elevation from the river to the start of the trail, opening up a water access point on the western side of the site. Through the implementation of communal spaces I hope to encourage community interaction and encourage more people to participate in the Kayak Challenge. Yara Alandia
