This project seeks to create a space of residential building with the sensation of forest retreat, creating architecture that interacts with vegetation and climate.
Designing a modern residential which reflecting the whole master plan and enrich with tradional architecture concept as the build has a plan to accomodate as memorial museum of Daw Aung San Su Kyi in future.
Sitting at the hill top of Ottara Thiri Township, we carefully design to blend with surrounding topography and vegetation. Triangle is the strongest in geometry shapes. Ancient Burmese used triangle concept to get harmony and supermacy with the enviroment as the stupas were built at the top of hills. We use the concept at the front wall where visitors might see the building first, reminding the location of site, the top of the hill. The crescent moon shape lobby reflect the name of the project, La Yaung Taw (Moonlight Forest)whilst expressing grand, elegant and Simplicity.
SHAN YOE MA COMMERCIAL HUB
TACHILEIK
Exisiting Shan Yoe Ma Department Store is old, damaged and not in operational state. After surveying the city’s economy, lifestyle and market demand , we decide to plan a modern market place to introduce rather than preservation or refurhishment. Planning a supermarket and shophouses on 3.3 acres site in the heart of Tachileik city, integrated with various commmercial and recreation facilities, such as movie theatre, spa and children playground.

Although being a great and only 9-holes golf course in region,the tachileik golf course still need some amenities and facilities. After surveying and feasibility study, we plan to renovate clubhouse, adding carparkings, planning new irrigation system and banglows. Some improvement in landscape and drainage system, to enhance the atmosphere of the golf course. We also plan for new service & maintenance facility and golf cart garage.
