SoIwishthatyoumay loveandbelovedaccording totheHeartofChrist.The otherdayIreadinthe paperthatanewdiscovery hasbeenmadeinthetreatmentofneurosesandmentalcomplaints.Thepatientistobetreatedwith love.Revolutionary,isn't it?Don'taskmehowthis loveistobedistilledinthe heartsofthedoctorsand nurseswhoaretoadministerit.Orwhathappens totheunfortunatewhohas losthisinterestinlifewhey hecomesbacktothecold world.Wecanonlyhope thereissomesoulwaiting forhimtherewhoisenkindledwithChrist'so'A charity.

Practicallythewhole Catholiccommunityattenedthe8a.m.Massofwhich theLordAbbotwascelebrant,andthecapacityofthe churchwasseverelytaxed.
ThechoirbeautifullyrenderedpartsofDomMoreno's"MissaNona."Three youngchildrenmadetheir firstCommunion.
Followingtheblessing ceremonyat3p.m.,the LordAbbot,visitingclergy andotherspeakersgathered ontheverandah.
TheV.Rev.DeanJ. Cameron,parishprieststatedthattheMotherGeneral ofthePresentationOrder hadmadethenuttsavailable tostafftheconventschool, despiteotherheavydemands.TheSistershadarrivedinJuly. Partoftheextensions wouldbeuseduntilnext yearasatemporaryschool untilthenewschoolcould beerected.Itwashopedto havethepermitandcommencethebuildingearlyin 1952.
Theprovisionoftheexistingbuilding,extension,
furnishings,andequipment hadcost£1,100anditwas estimatedthatanextra amountof£500wouldbe requiredbeforeitwouldbe openedasaschool.Ofthis, £800hadbeengenerously givenduringthepast12 monthsbysubstantialdirect donations.
