BrieflyIwouldsaythis.Inthe exerciseofhisfreedom,manexercisesadominionoverhisacts whichmakehimresponsiblefor them.Theyarecertainlyhis own.Yettheveryactswhich proceedfromhisfreewillareat thesametimefromGod.Justas aman'seyeshair,hands,etc.,are hisownandyetaremuchmore thepropertyofGod,Whoalone givestoman'seyes,hairand handstheirbeing;solikewisea man'sfreeactsarehisown,yet theybelongmuchmoretoGod Whoalonecangivetheseacts theirbeing.AsSt.Paulsays, "InHimweliveandmoveand haveourbeing."
