HewasprofessedonFebruary 2, 1886. HewasProvincialofthe IrishProvinceforfouryears,during whichtimehevisitedAustralia.At thetimeofhisdeathhewasRectorofMilltownParkJesuitTheolorate.Dublin.

ThetenantsoftheBlakeestateCo Galway,comprisingtheBrierfield farmredthetownlandsofCeilleach (NorthandSouth),Crumlin,Ballina Park,CloondehamPer,andCaherlea, havesignedagreementswithMr. Kirwan,theagent,forthegrazing ofthelands.

TheSouthMayoExecutiveV.I.L. hasadoptedaresolutionapproving cfthePelle%oftheTrishPartyin respectoftheVetoandtheBudget, congratulatingMr.Redmondonthe edema'successwithwhichthatPolicy hadbeenrewarded,anddeclaring thatbyhisvoteaeainsttheBudget Mr.JohnO'Donnell,M.P.,hadforfeitedthesupportoftheelectors.

Mr.Kirkpatrickexplainedthata constellationwasagroupofstars, andthe"SouthernCross,"isthe mostfamiliartous.Starsareof everycolouranditisbewilderingto contemplatethebeautyoftheplanetsasnearlyeveryoneisofadifferentcolour.Inthe"Southern Cross,"accordingtoSirJohnHerschelwehavetheeffectofasuperbpieceoffancyjewellery.
