CPP HEALTH VILLAGE
POMONA, CA
Located adjacent from the Cal Poly Pomona Campus, the CPP Health Village serves to aid students of the campus as well as the neighboring community. The medical campus aims to provide an experience of wayfinding and interconnectivity for visitors. Though most of the buildings on the campus are separated in plan, a large canopy acts as the unifying element. Entrances to buildings are indicated with the curvature and organic geometry of the canopy. Although the individual buildings all utilize a different facade system, the common language is dominant throughout the elevations of the facilities. The parking structure serves as a wind and noise barrier, providing a calming medical experience from the heavy suburban traffic.

LA PLAZA AT LINCOLN HEIGHTS
LINCOLN HEIGHTS, CA
La Plaza at Lincoln Heights has a major goal: to revive what Lincoln Park once did for East LA by creating a community within the space itself. The project hybridizes affordable housing with locally owned and operated commercial programs that cater towards the Hispanic community that characterizes the surrounding area. As the cost of housing in Los Angeles is constantly rising, the La Plaza at Lincoln Heights serves as a stepping stone for working individuals and immigrant families to reside and join the community. The project creates a courtyard to produce communal spaces for residents and visitors of the site. The focus of this project is to create a unique experience for residents from the street level to the front of their doorstep. The massing of the building also adds to this language, as it utilizes angles in geometry to create a welcoming gesture into the site.

THE HOLLYWOOD APARTMENTS
LOS ANGELES, CA
Located on a three-street intersection of urban Los Angeles, the mix-used building serves the young working class . The building welcomes not only residents, but to create a community that serves to contribute to the diminishing urban culture . This includes terraced seatings and the occasional performance stage, which otherwise could be a resting stop for those who pass by the site. The building concept is about modularity , creating a push and pull effect in elevation. The general separation of materials creates a contrast between the commercial and residential spaces. The introduction of multiple outdoor spaces throughout the residential portion of the building provides additional private space.
