Hello,
I am a graduate student pursuing an MS in Urban Design at the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a background in architecture and a lifelong passion for understanding the interplay between people, spaces, and the built environment. As a licensed architect from India, my formative experiences and professional work on urban challenges have shaped my approach to design, emphasizing community engagement, sustainability, and resilience.
My design philosophy centers on creating spaces that not only respond to immediate needs but also shape meaningful, lasting connections between people and their environments.
My recent experiences at Georgia Tech include the ULI Hines competition, which has trained me to take on challenges, be a team player, and deliver under pressure. Additionally, as Co-Founder of SKAN Studio, I have demonstrated strong leadership skills by mentoring over 50 students and guiding them through design, research, and narrative development.
I am seeking a summer internship with a firm where I can apply my skills, expand my knowledge, and contribute to impactful urban and architectural design projects.

This urban design project reimagines Adair Park and West End as vibrant, connected neighborhoods by transforming Lee Street and Murphy Avenue into pedestrian-friendly corridors, adding car-light streets, and activating underutilized spaces with community hubs. Centered around a new MARTA station, high-density mixed-use developments will blend seamlessly into historic surroundings, while gateway plazas celebrate the area’s rich heritage balancing growth, sustainability, and inclusivity.
Challenges, Opportunities and Goals
1. Integrating the neighborhood with MARTA and the Beltline to promote connectivity and community
2. Transforming underutilized space beneath MARTA into a vibrant community hub
3. Shaping the neighborhood to foster a thriving Marta Station and sustainable communal infrastructure

Urban Framework
The urban framework integrates design strategies with site context, anchored by a central communal spine that connects historic neighborhoods to the new MARTA station. This promotes development along Lee and Murphy Streets and enhances neighborhood connectivity. Public greens serve as gateways, preserving history and celebrating communal spaces.

I played a key role in the conceptualization of the project, focusing on designing solutions for the unorganized transit network. My contributions included creating dedicated spaces for efficient drop-offs and pickups for buses, auto-rickshaws, and taxis, addressing critical gaps in the urban mobility system.
Location: Udaipur, Rajasthan India
The street which extends from Chetak Circle to National Informatics Centre on Saheli Marg is an important part of the circulation network in the city. It creates a major link in the city connecting many of the important landmarks and tourist places. The street, having a commercial character negotiates between private and public spaces.

My role in the team began with an in-depth analysis of the existing site and the broader city context, focusing on understanding the character of Udaipur and the needs of its citizens. I then contributed to the master planning phase, helping to conceptualize and design key public spaces, including gathering areas and courtyards, ensuring they aligned with the city’s cultural identity and the project’s vision.
Location: Udaipur, Rajasthan India
Indira Colony Kacchi Basti, situated to the west of Goverdhan Sagar Lake, once enjoyed a beautiful view of the water, but this connection has been distorted by the encroaching boundaries and edges. The lakeside street has transformed into a mere thoroughfare, surrounded by lifeless, inactive spaces. Redesigning this street presents an invaluable opportunity to revitalize the area, expand the public realm, and restore the lost connection between the built environment and the water, reestablishing the once harmonious relationship.

This section consists of wide variety of projects ranging from a farmhouse weekend home scheme at Pollo Forest near Aravali, to a visitor’s lounge designed for a highend weekend home scheme and a 360 viewing point vista for the residents of the housing scheme. Each project captures a different nuance, a different set of users and a new challenge with site boundaries. The scale varies and so does the design stratergies.
It helped me enhance my skills in the areas of Conceptual drawings & mood boards, working drawings, electrical layouts, furniture drawings, BOQ, site visit, fixture selection, client and contactor meetings.

Through various life experiences, I have evolved and learned a lot about people, spaces, culture, and life skills. I enjoy slow traveling solo, which allows me to engage with locals and explore each location to the fullest. I also enjoy capturing frames, mainly of wildlife in motion, which builds my patience and concentration. Along with that, I have a keen interest in painting and digital art, which stimulates both my creativity and cognitive thinking. All these experiences have shaped me into the person I am today, and I hope to continue developing them as life progresses.
