An architect by education, I love writing about the impact of Architecture and Design on human lives, communities and our Whetherculture.itis a 50-word social media caption or a 5-page white paper, every piece of writing that I create emerges from a comprehensive brief and detailed research — guaranteed to create impact and ignite conversations.
Having been involved strongly in Research oriented Design projects my expertise lies in writing about upcoming design trends which are yet at the grass root level.
Writing is an art form which helps you express your views freely….

East lifestyle is a Bangalore based company which has passion admirationandfor handcrafted wooden furniture and their USP is colonial and mid-century designs.

Everyone dreams of a beautiful space which they can fondly call as “their home”.
LUSHPROJECT
What can be more beautiful than Wood when you know the strength of Pine tree with strong Christmas Roots or the imported Brazilian cherry and something as simple as framed artwork in reclaimed lumber used as a natural element of a wooden floor or china cabinet for your home interiors?
A well designed space with some beautiful interiors which will add some style and warmth to their space. A very important element of interior designing is the furniture used because practically the use of the space depends a lot on the furniture placed in the space

The natural features of wood give each piece a unique look. We can say that nature has left its signature on it in the form of unusual patterns. One such furniture company is East Lifestyle discussed below is one of their recently completed Project in Bangalore “PROJECT LUSH”

“There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of a beautifully designed space to cook and entertain guests, whether you choose sleek minimalism or traditional styles.” –East Lifestyle
An excellent option when it comes to wooden furniture is Oakwood, Oak furniture are simply related to style,
beauty and quality. Considering the steep appreciation in wood prices, opting for oak furniture could be a bit costly affair.
An individual should be really specific and picky when picking oak furniture for their home as elegance comes with a cost. But oak is among the most durable kinds of wood, so you can be sure that it will keep going longer.

Berkley oak sofa is not like any other sofa. Handcrafted to perfection, bespoke design. Made in Solid Oak Wood.
The classical Berkley Oak Sofa by East Lifestyle adds a touch of both vintage and an old world charm to the space

Distressed wood has the look of being weathered and old, giving it texture and a rustic, homey appeal
The furniture is largely custom made as per the requirements of the clients. Known for bespoke designs and handcrafted perfection, East Lifestyle gives their clients a perfect range of antique Victorian style and contemporary designs, they provide you with a range you can’t resist and they do it the way you like.
The distress finish of the wood gives it a natural rugged textural finish with an aesthetical appeal.
The sofa is an excellent amalgamation of handcrafted and contemporary piece of furniture.
The excellent smooth finish of oak wood with a subtle sophistication in design, deliberate use of texture and clean lines makes it complete in itself.
Lush Wavy is a model that does not go unnoticed: the wavy backrest and the seat cushion in a different color tone are decidedly particular. A strong and personal style, Lush Wavy is the protagonist of the space.
The wavy shaped back is a bit of fun and we love how it looks against different wall finishes.

Elements of nature are added to the fabric and the design has been custom made for the client by the company.
The Lush wavy formal Sofa brings in a breath of nature to the living room with its vibrant color tone adds a playful vibe and its wavy edges add a contemporary look to the piece of furniture.
Oak furniture is a good choice for its exceptional beauty and quality. It is ideal if you want a long lasting, elegant, resistant and versatile furniture. One of its best strengths is its resistance to wear and durability. Oak is a hard wood because it comes from a slow-growing tree.

Arterial Road System : Case Study of Pune

Even though the roads are scattered in design, the arterial roads form a connecting network to join smaller roads to the main roads.
According to the development plan of PMC, the roads have been classified in various ways. We have considered the roads with width up to 60m and greater than 24m, i.e. the main roads/highways and the arterial roads with road width 12m.

The recent influx and growth of machine learning and artificial intelligence rises questions about the way in which creative processes evolve and develop through technology.
Systems like DALL-E, DALL-E 2 and Midjourney are AI programs trained to generate images from text descriptions using a dataset of text-image pairs.
The diverse set of capabilities includes creating anthropomorphized versions of animals and objects, combining unrelated concepts in plausible ways, and applying transformations to existing images.
Architecture in the era of Artificial Intelligence…..

Many of the rather smarter people alive today, the likes of Stephen Hawking, Bill Gates and Elon Musk, have been continuously warning us about the possible mayhem and destruction that will eventually happen due to A.I. robots taking over the world. However, before we reach what seems to be our inevitable doom, there’s bound to be a friendly period of A.I. helping our society.
But what is Artificial Intelligence?

Simply put, A.I. (short for Artificial Intelligence) is the intelligence displayed by machines and software.
Digital technology and A.I. is growing at an exponential rate. As “Moore’s law” explains, over the history of computing hardware, the number of transistors in a dense integrated circuit has doubled approximately every two years. This means that in the future, a computer can design a better one that can design a better one and so on.

These are the four initial results generated by Midjourney bots based on the prompt: “/imagine A contemporary, sustainable McDonald’s restaurant made of glass with golden arches reflecting on a lake.” .

Some researchers are calling these “Artificial serendipity”, systems that maximize the opportunity for serendipity, opening up the range of creative capabilities beyond the classical methods. Architects are already experimenting with these tools to explore complex issues like urban planning and the possibilities of existing spaces. Others are combining architectural keywords with contemporary design cliches, references to pop culture and various art styles to design buildings or simply explore the nature of design trends and technology.

A perfect example of using A.I. to solve problems that would take days for an architect, is the space syntax software ‘depthmapX’ by The Bartlett at UCI. It uses A.I. to analyse the spatial network on many levels without the need of going on site.
For the time being, it appears that to meet creative artists’ needs, it will be necessary to continue stacking several AIs, much like traditional software workflows. But as these tools expand, it will be fascinating to see how they interact and how fresh approaches to creative exploration take shape.

Impacts

‘Child-centric homes’ is an innovative concept that is expected to create a new dimension in the real estate industry, for both the developers as well as buyers. The concept addresses the needs of young urban buyers by providing them with the opportunity to dedicate more time for their child’s overall development, by eliminating the travel time between various classes and by addressing child’s safety concerns. The presence of various facilities at one place not only reduces the stress levels of the parents, but also ensures all-round development of a child.

1. Adults perceive space mostly through aesthetics, form and function whereas children perceive space as mostly based on function.

4. Security is the key.
5. Orient outdoor entry areas to other dwellings to promote neighborly interaction. the
3. Create a buffer zone for a transition from private to semi public spaces.
