CLIP-IN BARRIER | Deployment Guide Please consider carefully before deploying this product. It may not be suitable for all people for a number of reasons including the weight or size. This deployment guide contains important infomation and practical advice on how to install, care for and maintain your flood protection product(s).

Deployment Time

Each Floodguard Clip-in Barrier panel should take between 30 seconds and 2 minutes to fully deploy.

Deployment 1. Ensure you match the panel to the designated aperture. 2. Hold the panel ensuring a good safe lifting technique within your physical capability. For larger panels this may involve a 2-person lift with one person at each end.

3. Locate the edge into the back-frame until it sits in the correct position. 4. Starting with the 2 top clips, push the clips around the hooks and click to secure. It should be possible to locate and deploy the bottom clips without visual reference. Please be careful not to trap your fingers in the clips, or to trap any objects between the seal and the back-frame.

Removal and Storage When the flood and the risk of flooding have subsided, remove the panels by unclipping firstly the bottom clips and side clips leaving the top clips securely fastened. Pushing the panel into the frame in order to take the weight, release the top clips and lift the panel away from the back-frame. Wipe down with a damp cloth and warm soapy water and allow to dry. Return to storage in dry, secure location away from direct sunlight. Please note air brick vent covers should be removed as soon as flood waters subside to allow proper ventilation of property.
