Hot tubs are without a doubt a real success story in the UK and for many manufacturers and retailers, 2015 was another great year with sales increasing and the sector going from strength-to-strength. hilst nobody knows the actual numbers of hot tubs sold each year in the UK, manufacturers, distributors and retailers all agree that the market is going from strengthto-strength in the UK. With more opportunities though, comes more competition, so it’s increasingly important for retailers to be able to offer not only a comprehensive range of products to end users, but also something that differs from the competition – something that is unique. This in turn drives innovation, with what’s on offer constantly changing. From entry level to high-end, this issue we take a look at what’s new and improved in 2016.

CERTIKIN UNVEILS TWO NEW FANTASY HOT TUBS SPATEX 2016 will be the showcase for the Splendor hot tub – the latest addition to the Fantasy Rotomoulded hot tub range, supplied by Certikin International.

Not at SPATEX but a new addition to the Fantasy range is the two person rectangular shaped Aspire with ten jets. Which, like the Splendor, has a dual speed therapy system. The Splendor is a 2m round Rotomoulded spa designed to accommodate five people and, like all the others in the range, are easy to set-up and simple to use and maintain. Being a rotational moulded spa, it is light-weight and an affordable alternative to the traditional acrylic spa. With a durable RokSolid™ shell, they are built to withstand the elements. The Splendor has 18 jets and comes in three attractive colours – sand, taupe and espresso. The walls of each hot tub are filled with polyurethane insulation providing maximum efficiency and strength. Standard equipment also includes a grey cover with lock down clips adding convenience and safety. The Splendor fits through standard doors and features electronic digital controls, an energy efficient 2 kW heater, superior filtration, surface skimmer, mood light and digital temperature readout.
