ALT EXPANDS GLOBAL FOOTPRINT WITH NEW US-BASED FACILITY Aquatic Leisure Technologies Group (ALT), one of Australia’s largest and most innovative fibreglass swimming pool manufacturers, is proud to announce the establishment of its first US manufacturing facility following the acquisition of an existing fibreglass manufacturing facility located in Opp, Alabama. The site provides ALT with a strong local workforce, supportive community, and excellent infrastructure that aligns perfectly with the company’s long-term vision for sustainable growth. Located on a 22 acre site, the 56,000 sq ft facility will serve as the US manufacturing home of Aqua Technics Pools – ALT’s world-renowned pool brand and the flagship line that will be promoted across the North American market. Since entering the US market in 2018, ALT has experienced sustained growth and previously supplied distributors and dealers directly from its Australian operations. With localised production, the company will be able to improve delivery times, and support the company’s expanding dealer and distributor network across the country.

Myrtha Pools Celebrates 2025 IOC IAKS Architecture Prize Myrtha Pools is proud to celebrate the IOC IAKS Architecture Prize awarded to the Parramatta Aquatic Centre, an international recognition honouring sustainable, accessible and innovative sports and leisure facilities. After evaluating 69 projects worldwide, the jury selected nine outstanding centres, among them the Parramatta Aquatic Centre in Sydney, Australia. The jury commented: “The Parramatta Aquatic Centre is nestled within the beautiful surroundings of Parramatta Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This unique setting means that the building itself is not immediately recognisable. Conceptually, a large circle has been cut into the park, with the 50-metre outdoor pool located one storey below.” All pools at the centre – including the four located beneath the landscape – were designed and built using Myrtha’s pre-engineered modular stainless steel panels, an innovative technology that ensures

sustainability, precision and long-term durability compared to traditional construction methods. Their low maintenance and millimetric accuracy make them ideal for public facilities while meeting World Aquatics standards. The jury also highlighted these same qualities: “From the park, visitors can approach the circular opening and enjoy a view of the outdoor pool below, separated only by a stainless-steel net. The single-level layout of the building ensures universal accessibility, intuitive circulation and operational efficiency, meeting the diverse needs of the growing community. The Parramatta Aquatic Centre’s high architectural excellence is further emphasised by the precise execution and selection of high-quality materials.” Myrtha Pools UK 07860 852339 www.myrthapools.com
