Il Mart è tra i più importanti e riconosciuti musei di arte moderna e contemporanea d’Italia. Propone grandi mostre tematiche, esposizioni temporanee di respiro nazionale e internazionale e percorsi artistici, periodicamente ripensati e rinnovati, sull’arte del ‘900 attraverso le sue collezioni. Il Mart vanta una collezione di circa 25.000 opere in cui sono rappresentati tutti i maggiori movimenti del secolo scorso: Futurismo, Novecento, Metafisica, Astrattismo, Pop Art, Arte Povera fino alle esperienze artistiche più contemporanee, esposte a rotazione compatibilmente all’attività espositiva temporanea.
The Mart is one of the most important and renowned museums of modern and contemporary art in Italy. It offers thematic exhibitions, temporary exhibitions and artistic itineraries, which change periodically. The Mart focuses on the art of the 20th century through its collections, more than 25.000 masterpieces representing the most important trends of the last century: Futurism, Novecento, Metaphysical Art, Abstract Art, Pop Art, Arte Povera up to the most recent artistic experiences, which are exposed periodically, according to the temporary exhibitions program.
Das Mart ist das neue italienische Museum für moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst das vorübergehende und Daueraustellungen und künstlerische Wege durch die Kunst des 20. Jahrhunderts bietet. Das Museum verfügt über 25.000 Werke, unter anderen Bilder, Zeichnungen und Skulpturen von Futurismus, Novecento, Metafisica, Pop Art, Abstraktion und Arte Povera bis zu den zeitgenössischen Sperimentationen der Künstler der letzten Generationen. Diese Werke sind in abwechselnden Ausstellungen ausgestellt.

Palazzo Alberti Poja
Gioiello architettonico affacciato su Corso Bettini, Palazzo Alberti Poja costituisce con il Palazzo dell’Annona la facciata di accesso al MART e all’Auditorium Melotti. Edificio ricco di storia e di riferimenti per la comunità locale, il Palazzo ospita oggi le opere della Quadreria Comunale, ottimamente conservate grazie alla preziosa attività della Fondazione Museo Civico di Rovereto. Nelle sale affrescate del palazzo restaurato di recente, si valorizzano le collezioni roveretane e trentine attraverso un percorso espositivo che intende evidenziare la dimensione settecentesca di questo scrigno dell’arte.
Palazzo Alberti Poja is an architectural jewel that overlooks Corso Bettini and together with Palazzo dell’Annona creates the access facade to Mart Museum and to Auditorium Melotti. Rich in history and references for the local community, the building hosts today the works of the Quadreria Comunale, the collection of paintings belonging to the Municipality of Rovereto, which are well preserved thanks to the precious work of the City Museum. In the frescoed rooms of the recently renovated building, the collections from Rovereto and Trentino are displayed.
Wunderschöner Palast auf Corso Bettini, Palazzo Alberti Poja bildet mit Palazzo dell’Annona die Façade des MART Museums und des Konferenzsaales Melotti. Das Gebäude ist reich an Geschichte und beherbergt jetzt die Quadreria Comunale, eine Sammlung, die dank der Hilfe des Stadtmuseums von Rovereto verwahrt wurde. In mit Fresken bemalten Sälen kann man die Sammlungen von Rovereto und Trentino bewundern.

La Casa d’Arte Futurista Depero è parte integrante del MART. Nato da un’originalissima visione dell’artista Fortunato Depero, è l’unico museo futurista d’Italia. Il museo, oltre ad ospitare piccole mostre tematiche, ha una ricca collezione permanente. Si possono ammirare tarsie in panno, mobili, suppellettili in “buxus”, giocattoli e prodotti d’arte applicata. A queste opere fanno da corollario alcuni momenti significativi della visione dell’artista, dai suoi esordi teatrali, dai Balli plastici al periodo newyorkese tra il 1928 e il 1929, fino alla fortunata produzione pubblicitaria ed editoriale.
Casa d’Arte Futurista Depero (Depero Futurist Art House) is one of MART’s venues. Born from an original idea of the artist Fortunato Depero, it is the only Futurist museum of Italy. The museum not only hosts thematic exhibits but also boasts a rich permanent collection. In the museum you will admire numerous examples of the artistic production of Depero, such as tapestry, pieces of furniture made of “buxus”, toys and applied arts products.
Casa d’Arte Futurista Depero (Futuristisches Kunsthaus Depero) ist einer der Sitze des MART. Entstanden aus einer originellen Idee des Künstlers Fortunato Depero, ist es das einzige futuristische Museum Italiens. Das Museum beherbergt nicht nur Themenausstellungen aber auch eine reiche Dauersammlung. In dem Museum kann man zahlreiche Beispiele der Kunstproduktion des Künstlers wie Wandteppiche oder Möbel, sowie viele wichtige Momente seiner Anschauung bewundern.

Situato nel Castello di Rovereto, il museo è una delle principali istituzioni italiane dedicate alla Prima guerra mondiale. Espone una ricca raccolta di oggetti e fotografie, armi, uniformi, materiali della guerra di trincea, volantini e manifesti. Nei torrioni del castello è visibile la collezione di armi di età moderna (XVI-XVIII secolo) e una raccolta di armi e strumenti dalla preistoria al Medioevo.
The Museum, situated in the Castle of Rovereto, is one of the most important institutions dedicated to the First World War in Italy. It exhibits a wide collection of objects, photographs, weapons, uniforms and materials relating to trench warfare and propaganda. A collection of modern-age weapons (XVI-XVIII centuries) is housed in the towers, alongside weapons and tools from prehistory to the Middle Ages.
Das Museum ist in der Burg von Rovereto untergebracht. Es ist eines der wichtigsten italienischen Museen zur Thematik des Ersten Weltkrieges. Zu sehen ist eine umfangreiche Sammlung, die Gegenstände aller Art, Fotografien, Waffen, Uniformen, Flugblätter und Manifeste umfasst. In den beiden Wehrtürmen sind Waffen aus der Neuzeit (16.-18. Jhdt.) sowie Waffen und Werkzeuge von der Vorgeschichte bis ins Mittelalter ausgestellt.

Die Friedensglocke
Campana della pace in memoria dei caduti di tutte le guerre. Fusa con il bronzo dei cannoni delle nazioni partecipanti al primo conflitto mondiale, venne battezzata nel 1925 con il nome di “Maria Dolens”. L’attuale bronzo benedetto da Papa Paolo VI, fu collocato sul colle di Miravalle il 4 novembre 1965. È la più grande campana del mondo che suoni a distesa. Ogni sera al tramonto i suoi cento rintocchi sono un monito di pace universale. Con una piacevole passeggiata nel bosco si raggiunge il sacrario militare di Castel Dante, che conserva le spoglie di ventimila soldati.
Born from the idea of a priest of Rovereto, Don Antonio Rossaro, it had to be evidence and admonition of peace in memory of the Fallen of all wars. Cast with the bronze of the cannons of the 19 nations involved in the First World War, it was inaugurated on the 24th May 1925 with the name “Maria Dolens”. After being blessed in Rome by Pope Paul VI it was placed in its current seat, on Miravalle Hill, on the 4th November 1965. It’s the biggest ringing bell in the world. Every evening, at nightfall, it invites us with its sound to remember the Fallen of all wars.
Die größte Glocke der Welt, die ohne Unterlaß schlägt, wurde vom Roveretaner Geistlichen don Antonio Rossaro entworfen, um die Gefallenen aller Kriege zu ehren. Die Glocke wurde aus der Bronze der Kanonen gegossen, die von den am 1. Weltkrieg beteiligten Nationen gestiftet wurden. Am 24.05.1925 taufte man sie auf den Namen ”Maria Dolens“. Nachdem sie vom Papst Paulus VI 1965 in Rom gesegnet wurde, ging die Glocke am 4. November im Triumphzug wieder nach Rovereto zurück, wo sie auf dem Miravalle Hügel installiert wurde. Jeden Abend beim Sonnenuntergang erinnern ihre 100 Schläge an die Gefallenen und an das Leiden aller Kriege.
