Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries Life of Crime In a story spanning three decades, an impulsive rookie policewoman becomes obsessed with tracking down the killer of a 15-year-old girl. The choices she makes in the early stage of her career will have long-lasting and explosive repercussions on both her professional and personal life.
The independent, glamorous, and unflappable leading lady detective Phryne Fisher is back to solve crimes in 1920s Melbourne. She mounts gun fights with the mafia, climbs tall buildings to rescue the helpless, performs deathdefying feats of escapology, and battles villains.
New Tricks The 12th and final season of this beloved show includes bodies in the basement, skeletons in swimming pools, and lottery syndicates gone fatally wrong. The UCOS team must pull together more than ever to uncover the city’s long-buried secrets and bring justice to the streets of London.
Dalziel and Pascoe Masterpiece: Sherlock The world’s only consulting detective, Sherlock Holmes, teams up with his longsuffering and faithful friend, Dr. John Watson, to solve a dizzying array of crimes and battle diabolical villains. Sherlock uses his signature deductive reasoning and his stunning lack of social grace.
DCI Banks An explosive serial crime story begins when the victim of an attack is found in a woodland. Banks uncovers a link to a local crime boss and formulates a theory of his own. The team is also having a painful job finding out how a recent tragedy occurred. It all comes down to one man. 6

Outdoor Wisconsin, airing Saturdays at 4 p.m., shows you what’s happening just to our north. Host Dan Small shows viewers the best the great outdoors of Wisconsin has to offer while also promoting the significance of maintaining the natural environment and a responsible attitude towards outdoor pursuits. Growing a Greener World, airing Sundays at 3:30 p.m., focuses on compelling and inspirational people making a positive impact on the planet through gardening. It also shares DIY information that viewers can use at home. Explore the exciting, diverse, and unique wildlife that inhabits the dramatic landscapes of the vast South American continent during Wild South America, airing Mondays at 8 p.m. starting April 10. Meet the
plants and animals that call these diverse habitats home. Hear the story of the world’s last mountain gorillas during Mountain Gorilla, airing Sunday, April 30 at 7 p.m. These amazing creatures are protected by a dedicated band of humans who watch and care for them. ONE-MINUTE BIOGRAPHY with
Flannery O’Connor
Novelist and short story writer Flannery O’Connor was born on March 25, 1925, in Savannah, Georgia. She and her family moved to rural Milledgeville, also in Georgia, in 1938. The family farm there is where O’Connor ended up spending most of her time. O’Connor attended Georgia State College for Women, now called Georgia College & State University, for her undergraduate studies. She went on to study creative writing at the University of Iowa’s Writers’ Workshop. Her first short story was published in a magazine in 1946. Her first novel, Wise Blood, was published in 1952. It was later made into a film in 1979. O’Connor continued to write novels and short stories until her death in 1964. Several works were published posthumously. One of them, The Complete Stories, won a National Book Award. O’Connor’s stories were usually set in the rural South and focused on religion in some way. Her family was Roman Catholic, and many of her stories were about the relationship between the individual and God. Program: Travels with Darley: Wyoming National Forests Focus: Protected Lands, Environment Grades: 4–12 Airing: Wednesday, April 26 at 8:30 p.m. Overview: What do you get when you combine wild places with the people who love them? An authentic nature escape that just may make you want to get lost in your own backyard. Free Additional Resources: Have students create a print or digital travel brochure after they research one of the National Forests in Wyoming. The National Park Service website has fabulous resources. The series website outlines the episode and shows some behind-the-scenes action. Students might also use PBS LearningMedia to read about the Act Establishing Yellowstone National Park (1872) and Resource Materials. Yellowstone became the first Federally protected national park by the Act of Congress signed into law on March 1, 1872. This resource group includes two primary source images, a background essay, and a transcript.

Fred the house cat explores the outdoors during this program aimed at 3–8-year-olds. Topics include life science, earth science, physical science, and environmental education. The program reconnects children with the natural world and makes nature education a sustaining and enriching part of their daily lives.
Splash the yellowback fusilier fish and Bubbles the Mandarin dragonet encourage kids ages 4–7 to explore the natural undersea world. Marine biologists helped in the development of the program to help show children the importance of taking care of the ocean. It also focuses on celebrating diversity.
Sid the Science Kid Sundays 6:30AM The inquisitive and energetic Sid starts each episode with a new question and then embarks on a fun-filled day of finding answers. The program shows that science is all around us and that children are capable of learning about scientific concepts. Sid uses science tools to observe, measure, and record.

Wild Kratts Weekdays 9AM Brothers Chris and Martin Kratt encounter incredible animals as they combine science education with fun and adventure. Their animated selves travel to different animal habitats around the globe. The program uses the animals as a way to teach children about chemistry, physics, and other science topics.
