Message from our Director

Mensaje de nuestra Directora In the heart of winter, I always like to snuggle up with a good book! It’s no big shock that a librarian loves to read, but it might be a surprise that I’m often at a loss when it comes to what to read next. There are so many good books out there that it can be hard to choose, and that’s where the library’s incredible readers advisory services come in. Did you know that you can just walk in (or call, or chat, or message us on social media) and that a library staff member will help you find your next great read? Or that the library has a Book Match service, that gives you a curated list based on what you tell us you like? Have you heard of our Book Boxes, with custom reading choices just for you? And there are hundreds, if not thousands, of recommended reads on the library’s web page, all carefully selected by your reading experts at the library. All of these services are available for every age and every reading level and preference. Give it a try – and enjoy reading season.
