Our commitment is to improve mental health and quality of life by helping people maximize their potential. At Alvarado Parkway Institute we provide safe, easy, and excellent care for adults ages 18 and over who need treatment for behavioral health and/or addictive disorders.

Inpatient care is designed for individuals who struggle with severe symptoms of mental illness, addictive disorders, or dual diagnosis who need around-the-clock care in a structured environment until they no longer pose a risk to themselves or others.

We offer a full spectrum of inpatient mental health and addictive disorder services designed to promote rapid stabilization, reduce symptoms, and develop new coping skills. Inpatient treatment is led by a psychiatrist and carried out by a caring and compassionate team of skilled mental health and addictive disorder professionals.

Inpatient Services Include:

4 Daily Physician visits and care

4 Detoxification and rehabilitation services

4 Addictive disorders and dual diagnosis treatment

4 Medication management

4 Comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment

4 Treatment of psychiatric illnesses such as Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, and Anxiety.

4 Psychology services

4 Individual and group psychotherapy including: anger management, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and communication skills

4 Adjunctive therapies including spirituality, music, art, movement, and recreation therapies

4 Discharge planning and social services assistance

We are focused on meeting the needs of the whole client by providing a Continuum of Care through our Center for Mental Health and Addictive Disorders. Our Behavioral Health System includes our 66-bed Inpatient Hospital, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient services at three convenient locations.

Center for Aging

We are committed to meeting the unique behavioral health and addiction needs of our aging community. Our Center for Aging program provides structured treatment in a safe, caring and compassionate environment for older adults struggling with mental illness and addictive disorders.
