About

THE SCHOOL FOR HEARTS AND MINDS

“We believe education should not only build a solid academic framework but also instill a firm sense of character and a strong foundation for a life of faith. Rooted in Greek Orthodoxy, our practices not only provide the tools for our students to journey through their own faith but also to learn about others. Our diverse student body represents a wide variety of religious beliefs, ethnicities, and racial backgrounds. We celebrate these differences by inspiring our students to learn from one another and cherish the traits that make each one of us distinct.”

ANNUNCIATION ORTHODOX SCHOOL CULTIVATES EMPATHY, RESILIENCE, CONFIDENCE, AND AGAPE

BY CELEBRATING THE DISTINCT TALENTS AND DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS OF OUR COMMUNITY.

Delphi & Prekindergarten

EARLY CHILDHOOD

The Jesse H. Jones Center for Early Childhood Development provides a hands-on environment where children learn through play and exploration.

Our faculty use a wide variety of tools, teaching methods, and an age-appropriate curriculum that fosters a lifelong love of learning. AOS intentionally designed this program to provide opportunities for students to develop a positive self-image through social and emotional learning.

“Our Jones Center is a special place. The amount of love, care, and happiness that fills the Jones Center classrooms is visible to anyone who enters the doors. We believe in setting a solid educational foundation and incorporating play into every aspect of a student’s day. Come and experience the magic of the Jones Center for yourself. You will not be disappointed!”

LOWER
SCHOOL

The Katherine Veletsos Lower School is where our students become independent learners. As they develop foundational skills in a variety of academic areas, our students grow socially, academically, emotionally, and spiritually. AOS encourages students to explore their personal interests and develop their unique strengths while continuing to instill a natural curiosity and a joy for learning.

“Fostering creativity, teamwork, and independence in every child are important goals at AOS. Our students are encouraged to ask meaningful questions and to discover answers and solutions. Through this, our students develop critical thinking skills and grow in confidence, allowing each one to develop a life-long love of learning and an ability to be a useful and productive member of society.”

MIDDLE
SCHOOL

“It is an honor and a privilege to support students as they go through one of the most robust social, emotional, physical, and academic growth periods of their lives.”

“Middle school students are faced with many challenges, and connecting with our students is vital for their growth and confidence. Our teachers form meaningful relationships with each student and help them navigate these daily challenges.”

5th – 8th grade MIDDLE SCHOOL

The Mark Kelly Middle School is where students mature into grounded and compassionate members of society who are prepared for future challenges.

Our middle school begins as students enter their formative years. Therefore, we have intentionally designed our 5th through 8th grade program to sharpen social-emotional skills and push intellectual curiosity. Our enrichment team carefully curates offerings to meet a wide variety of interests and include everything from fine arts to coding and design thinking.

AOS PROVIDES A SUPERIOR EDUCATION IN A SECURE AND STIMULATING CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT.
